Liked: Free breakfast. Storage lockers in room

Disliked: Although they advertised air-conditioning, the unit in my room barely cooled the room. It was usually cooler outside than inside my room.

Liked: Awesome hostel, lots of free stuff during your stay (best breakfast yet!), the cleanest hostel (along with Cool Bananas in 1770) yet, will stay here again when I'm back in Cairns

Disliked: free wifi available but once hostel is full not everyone can get online and you have to wait for them to reboot the server (to kick everyone out) or wait for the backpackers to go out partying to use the internet

Liked: Great location and very friendly and helpful staff plus free wireless and a basic breakfast so pretty much all you need as a traveller.

Liked: The very best Backpacker I spent time during my travel Australia. Very clean, helpful staff and nice spacous rooms with great value for money - should stay a secret, but deserves any award to win! Thanks a lot for the great time :-))

Liked: this was my first time i had ever stayed in a hostel, i found it to be very clean, the people friendly and the trip to the crystal cascades was a massive highlight, the guide was very good and i also tryed green ants, this was very cool. i did recommend you as i travelled up and down the coast, and i hopr to return one day soon.

Liked: very good place to stayfree breakfast is very goodown fridge and bathroomvery close to the center and to the lagoon of Cairnslots of offers, for example free pancakes on saturday or free bbq on sundays, swimming in the rainforest etc... !!! :-)best hostel we stayed in since we are here (4 weeks)

Liked: Its in a fab location, close enough to the centre and bars etc but far enough away to avoid the noise! Its a really friendly laid back hostel and really easy to meet people there. Anna on the travel/tour desk deserves particular mention - book everything through her - she really knows her stuff and couldn't be more helpful.

Liked: This is easily the best, nicest hostel I've stayed in down the east coast of Australia. The staff are all great, the dorms are the best I've slept in - all en suite, fridges in rooms, very clean. The common area is a great place to relax on a sofa, meet people, and do everything else. I hardly spent time in my room here. The free internet is pretty slow, but it's still free! I seriously recommend this place to everyone going to Cairns, you just can't beat it.
