Liked: The vibe, the people, the shuttle bus, the staff, the free breakfast etc

Disliked: Too small and a bit dirty kitchen, strange to hire cutleries and mugs from reception,

Liked: Very good staff with a laid back atmosphere. Room and facilities were fine, especially considering the price. Free pancakes with maple syrup in the morning was great!

Disliked: Bit far from the town/beach but still only 15 minutes walk away. Plus they have a regular shuttle bus service into where you want to be completely free. Apart from that it closed a bit early, very little noise allowed after 10pm but there was no curfew at night so you can just spend your evening in town if you want to party

Disliked: Would be better if the rooms had lockers to secure your belongings.

Liked: Tv hard drive with over 300 films and tv shows! Free wifi, free shuttle bus.

Disliked: Little further out but, depending on what you want, can be a good hint. Shuttle is reliable and frequent anyway.

Liked: This had a really nice atmosphere. We went on the dawn tour which was organised by one of the residents and we got to see whales and dolphins! It was nice relaxing in the hammocks in the garden. The pancakes for breakfast were really tasty and made a nice change from toast! We were given a 3 bed dorm to ourselves even though we had booked a shared dorm :-)

Disliked: The kitchen wasn't very clean and was too small for the number of people using it. The TV dominated the common room even though there was a separate TV room

Liked: FREE PANCAKES! Clean bathrooms and dorms, free bus into town, helpful and informative staff, good cooking facilities, hammocks and swimming pool

Disliked: Seemed to be a lot of travellers who are staying there long term that are a bit cliquey...

Liked: Free coffee, tea, and pancakes in the morning, and FREE WIFI with free access to computers...sold me!

Disliked: Bathrooms got a little crowded at times, didn't cere for the showers ( no place to set your stuff except on the wet floor, bad bad bad water pressure) and the mattresses were really thin. You could Ferlinghetti the bars through the ones on the top bunks. Also, there was a lot of staff that did work/accommodation that were on the cliquey Side, a hard group to break into

Liked: free wifi, friendly staff; quiet at night

Disliked: nowhere to store any valuables unless you wanted to pay extra for lockers; once in room not enough room to fit everyones bag against a wall, there were a few in the centre of the room; thinnest matress ive ever slept on - could feel all the bars of the bed

Liked: table tennis was alrite!

Disliked: the relative humidity in our lovely double room (which was a 4 bed dorm) was close to 100%. There was something seriously wrong with ceiling fan blades. Even though the ac was blaring at full power nothing happened. A significant number of bugs in the girls shower were detected during washing procedures.

Liked: free internet, good location - a bit out of the centre so its not too loud but an easy walk into the beach and main street

Disliked: sand EVERYWHERE- in all the beds. kitchen not that big, room quite hot.

Liked: They had a free shuttle into town.

Disliked: There was loud music all the time, they threw in an extra bed in an advertised 8 person dorm. I got that extra bed and it felt like I was sleeping on a bar. My pillow felt like I was sleeping on a bag of boulders. People were constantly talking loudly and drinking. The bathrooms looked dirty. Even when we first came in, we had to wait a while for the staff to get us checked in. It was a rough night.

Liked: The free shuttle bus to the backpacker and the staff there were really nice.

Disliked: It wasn't really clean. One mate told me, that she awake, because of a rat, that ran above the bed.

Liked: This hostel is great - the cheapest one around but you would never guess this when you stay there! Free shuttle into town every hour / free pancakes for breakfast / nice pool / chilled hammocks / clean dorms .... the list goes on! I'll be staying here again when if I go back to Byron. ; )
