Liked: Location, reasonable priced, lots of food storage space

Disliked: Staff - told them 3 times the bed hadn't been changed. Ended up getting my own sheets at 19:00 and doing myself. Also would be more helpful if they told you about $5 deposit for cups etc at checking rather than finding out when you go to use the kitchen. One life was broken and there are no stairs for general use so getting up and down to the fourth floor proved slow

Liked: Large ensuite bathroom

Disliked: The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. The second floor smelt like mold and I believe a homeless person was using the stairwell to the street as a bathroom. I was over charged for my stay and denied a refund.

Liked: It was exactly how they advertised, no nasty surprises and the room was very comfortable, clean and well serviced. The location was brilliant, the shortest walk to a hostel/hotel I've ever had when travelling via planes and trains; and perfect for exploring Brisbane. It also had lots of bars, places for food, convenience stores and travel places for booking trips all on your doorstep.

Disliked: Some of the other guests were very rude and uncivilised but this was certainly not the fault of the hostel, they did manage these people well too by not allowing drinking and noise etc in areas or hours that were not suitable.

Liked: They had comfortable beds & modern bathrooms. It was great being opposite the train & bus station.

Disliked: The bar/club was so noisy you could hear it 2 blocks away even at 4pm. It also seemed to attract old local men so most backpackers congregated in the tv lounge.

Disliked: kitchen is pretty lame, as is the fact you have to hire equipment to use in it...

Disliked: Kitchen is too small and you have to get plates, knifs and phorkes from reception everytime with keydeposit

Liked: Close to Transit station and only a short walk to queens st mall, also close to the river.I did think they could do with a bigger communeral room and places to eat your food as there are only few tables to eat at.Also the kitchen wasn't kept clean and not many surface space to prepare food.

Liked: when I stay there I had early flight next day..I tried to sleep early but I couldn't make it..this place has its own bar and the staff kept on advertising its event by speaker..it so noisy..if you have to get up early, you should find other place to stay...
