The Prince Consort Backpackers is located in a great heritage listed building right in the heart of Brisbane's Fortitude Valley. We're surrounded by shops, night clubs, supermarkets, bars and restaurants and are located only 10 minutes walk from the city center and just a 1 minute walk from public transport!

We follow the rule that Hostels are about people, not just the facilities; however our common room has a pool table and a big flat screen TV with hundreds of DVD’s available for rent if you don’t feel like going out. We also organize free pub crawls, walking tours and movie nights ?

Our kitchen is small but our rooms are big and spacious with power points and shelves for storage! We offer clean air-conditioned dorm rooms as well as private rooms that also have a fridge and TV/DVD, so you will definitely find the right bed that will make you happy. We even reserve dorms for girls only, so no smelly boys allowed! We have lots of share bathrooms, even with hairdryers for the girls, as well as cheap washing machines and dryers!

Check-in 2pm but we do our best to get you in asap.
Check-out is 10am.
