Liked: The hostel was in a great location, the staff were really friendly and the bar area and pool is great.

Disliked: The only real downside is that it is really noisy, we were in a private room but the walls are paper thin. But it's a great party hostel.

Liked: Good location, nice pool and view. Big kitchen

Disliked: very rude staff at times, mainly the cleaner who came into our room in the morning, ripped sheets of a friends bed because it wasn't the way it should have been. Leant over my bed across me in it and opened the curtains! Telling the girl she was training.... Always open the curtains as someone is always taking a nap! It was only 9.30!! Ants all over the room, dirty floors and dirty kitchen

Liked: bathrooms were clean

Disliked: kitchen wasnt very clean, many stoves were not working because of the free wifi that is only working in the common room which is very very small, people who wanted to eat couldnt find seats because other guests were sitting there with their laptops. noone could sit outside because of the rain, but there should be more opportunities to sit though!!

Liked: Amazing hostel! Very clean, great vibe, friendly staff, huge kitchen, great sundeck and pool overlooking the city. I was here for only one night (got in on train at 10pm and left again at 10am)...I regret not being able to stay at this place longer!

Liked: The central location (close to the transit centre and centre of the city) is really nice. The hostel itself is also pretty cool, they have a lookout tower with amazing views over the city, a pretty big movie room, a pool and a bar and lots of places to sit. The free wifi and free computers with internet are also a plus. I also got a free upgrade from a 10-bed dorm to a 6-bed dorm.

Disliked: The room I was in was really smelly. My dormmates also made a huge, huge mess and when the cleaners got in and saw the mess they just vacuumed the floor that was free of rubbish for one second and then turned around. So after a while the floor gets really dirty. I understand they're not there to clean up the mess, but maybe they should have reported it to the manager. The bathroom also wasn't really clean. The free wifi is only available in the dining area.

Liked: This hostel is in the city centre, nr the Brisbane Transit Centre.They have a free Internet lounge with Pcs to use or free wifiI! The place has a roof top swimming pool, lookout tower with unbelievable views of the city, free movie theatre, great big kitchen with loads of cold storage space and outside, a massive amount of terracing to sit out on. Two things I really liked was that you can store your bag and use all the facilities free on the day you check-out until 6pm and they offer long term bag storage up to 3 months free as well. I found it very clean and frankly well run! I can defiantly recommend this hostel.

Disliked: It is busy and very. A point of note is, the guys running this place don't put up with too much crap. In particular, a zero tolerance to drug taking (even weed) and guests spoiling the party for others do get Kicked out! Good to see. One or two writing reviews here I think!!

Liked: The movie theater was nice :) Also nice common rooftop areas. Free wifi, too bad it was only available in the common area.

Disliked: Full floor carpet (yuk!), no stairs for the ones who slept in the upper beds. The rooms were relatively small.

Liked: This hostel is in a good location, an easy walk from the transit centre and a ten minute walk into the main shopping high street. It has a decent sized pool, plenty of outdoor space, a good bar and meals available and FREE INTERNET AND WIFI which is a major bonus (although it can be a bit slow at times). The staff were friendly and helpful and the hostel was clean and not too noisy. Once I was in my room I couldn't hear the music from the bar which I was really pleased about. It's close enough to the city centre if you're looking to party, but far enough away so that you don't have to sleep in the middle of one.

Disliked: No real complaints. It's a really big place so it can be hard to meet people...

Disliked: Far too many rules, not friendly or accomodating. Very young crowd so maybe all the rules are necessary. I would not recommend this hostel to anyone over 21.
