Liked: Clean, in a good location, friendly staff, they offer nightly entertainment if your keen otherwise there's other areas to chill out. Some pedestal fans in the movie room would be good, it gets so hot a humid. They are always cleaning but seem to forget the shower curtains. Over all hostel is good, this is up there with one of the best hostels I have stayed in, I would stay here again :o)

Liked: free internet but actually everyone use their computer, you have to be very active if you want to get new friends. and the location is good, around 15 mins walk to the main street (Queen's Street). However, the indoor common area is extremely hot especially the kitchen.

Liked: Decent location. 5 minute walk to State Library that has A/C and faster internet, but the free internet at the hostel was convenient, and fast in the early morning. Close to the Stadium and some bars, but maybe 20 minute walk to town center. Grocery store is across the street, but takes about 3-5 minutes to walk there in a roundabout way. No air conditioned common area which kind of stunk in the heat of the day. They said I got an A/C room because I booked online. Keep that in mind. Yes, it was a bit stifling in brisbane due to the humidity. Good value overall.

Liked: central really gud fun i was travellin solo an made loadsa friends!! the bar is nice an good place to meet people an they have a pool and really good facilities one of the best hostels i stayed in would defo recommend!

Liked: We booked a doubleroom with shared bathroom, but got bumped up to an ensuite room with fridge/freezer, tv and bathroom! Atmosphere was great, and awesome bardeals, but the kitchen was a bit crowded at times and so was the free computers! But this was, overall, one of the best places we have stayed at in Australia!

Liked: It was in a good location the place was really clean plus the staff were really frendly and helpfully plus the the people we meet there were the best Tyson:)

Liked: Good hostel would stop again. It does have a bar and is a bit of a party hostel but still quiet in the rooms so easy to sleep. Great location 5 min walk for everything you should need. Great people there too. The cheapest beers in Brisbane from what I have heard so far from other travellers that have been here longer....always a bonus

Liked: City Backpackers has a nice chilled atmosphere and is the only place I have stayed with FREE Wifi and internet for those without a computer!

Liked: The staff here make the place, they will go out of their way to make sure that you get the best that they can provide etc there is a really nice bar and the location is perfect especially with the roof top views. The washing machines are pretty shocking but hay what can you expect lol free internet is deffo a bonus !
