About Katoomba Mountain Lodge
We have FREE WiFi and two warm lounge rooms with a good selection of DVDs and TV channels. Both rooms have a gas fireplace for the cold winter nights in the mountains.
Our kitchen is fully equipped to prepare your meals and we also provide free coffee and tea. There is a vegetable bed in our garden where our guests can pick up fresh herbs for their dishes and we have few interesting cooking books in our kitchen, if some days you feel like being creative with food.
Feel free to enjoy your meals in our spacious retro-chic dining room or on our lovely terrace, where you can have a wonderful view and or tan on a sunny day.
Please note that our reception is open daily from 8:30am to 4pm. Get in touch with us if you are checking-in later than 4pm.
You can choose to be in a dorm or book a private room if you want some privacy. We have dorms for all budgets and pleasant non-ensuite double, twin, triple and family rooms.
Our dorms and private rooms are very simple and they all come with a sink. They are clean and sunny and regularly go through a spring clean to guarantee hygiene and comfort.
All our beds have warm woollen blankets but to make sure you don’t get cold at night, we have installed electric blankets on all the beds. You simply need to plug your electric blanket in and it will be nice and warm.
The lodge is located in the centre of Katoomba, a few blocks from Katoomba train station and 15 minute walk from Echo Point, where the Three Sisters are. Katoomba street, the main street of Katoomba, is just around the corner, making it very convenient to enjoy a great coffee in one of the funky cafes of the village or buy some delicious bread and croissants from our local bakeries. You will also have heaps of choice when doing your groceries as we are very close to Aldi, Coles, BigW and Woolworths. And for those coming to the Blue Mountains for shopping, you will be amazed by the bargains that you can find in our local second-hand and antique shops.
