The man managing the hotel is the best. He was genuine and informative. He gave us a ride to a hiking spot since we didn't have a car. You really get personal attention and feel like they care about the facilities and the travelers who stay there. Also, they are really good about recycling (if you are into that)!

Cleanliness was sub standard, and decor was very dated. Security wasn't great but at the same time it seemed like a good safe area. The owner was very helpful.

Nice to have breakfast available, but no dryer. The safety was not up to par since the hostel could be entered from the side yard through an unlocked bedroom. More spaces than table space.

Cosy hostel, a couple of blocks back from the main street in Apollo Bay. Nice veranda to relax on and nice, free breakfast in the morning.

Well, the main advantage is you get really personal touch from the personal, My host was Annie who was probably the most helpful person Ive ever met. We chatted for a short time, then we planned next part of my trip. There was nothing to complain about. There was a little bit cold in the morning, but this is probably usual at this time of year. And when you get back too late to dine out, youll probably get hot dinner prepared by her. That stay was just great!!!!
