Liked: I liked the swimming pool and location. for that price it's a pretty good deal.

Liked: I originally booked this hostel because of recommendations made by people on one of my tours on the east coast. When I arrived at the haven I had no tour and the staff helped me book a really good one. I was very happy with my room, very clean and it had it's own shower & toilet. The free breakfast was really good too ( one of the other people on my ayers rock tour said their hostel only let each person have a maximum of two pieces of toast!) After my tour I stayed at the Haven again, and my return stay was FREE because I booked the tour there! There was a BBQ at the pool when I got up, so I joined the party to find a BABY KANGAROO & a man explaining how to rescue them if their mother is killed & lots of other information about kangaroos & other australian animals. there was also a snake and a lizard we could hold for photos.... i had my best day in australia ever and i never left the hostel because of all the fun and nice people. Lots of thanks to the staff, especially the girl with blond curly hair & the guy with the hat

Liked: I was only here for 1 night prior to joining the Rock Tour. However, the hostel was clean and tidy enough. The staff were helpful and the location was 10 min walk from the town. I was not here long enough to use all of the facilities or meet people but the people that I had meet on the Uluru tour had said Annies Place and Toddies was not great so I think Haven was a good choice.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Loved how close it was to town and loved the friendly atmosphere. Puff is awesome!!!

Liked: Clean rooms, great kichen and cooking ammities. Very modern. Isabel was very friendly and helpful and even planned my spare days in Alice Springs which was amazing. Theres more to 'Red Centre' than just the 'Rock' Thanks again Isabel.

Liked: Friendly staff and loved "Puff" the lizard. if you stay here you'll know what i'm talking about!!

Disliked: You have to hire a blanket which is a pain cause it was a bit chilly with just a sheet. If you stay at winter, bring a sleeping bag with you.

Liked: The best hostel I have stayed in for ages, the facilities are basic but of a really good standard. The staff are so friendly and helpful, i didn't want to leave.

Liked: Friendly staff, great tour deals and clean comfortable environment.

Disliked: Kitchen could be bigger, but there is an outdoor cooking area as well which was great during the busy periods.

Liked: I choose it because it was close to the railway station. Kitchen definitely is too little. The bathroom is OK. Nice dorm.

Liked: Close to the train station and supermarket with the main centre about a 10min walk away. Good facilities, though the kitchen wasn't the cleanest and like most hostels food does go wandering! Swimming pool is nice for a dip though not overly clean.

Liked: friendly staff, clean, swimming pool, internet + wifi (4$/hour), laundy (didn't use) kitchen small but ok, very good beds, AC, great bus shuttle service to airportthe only annoying thing is that the room keys (cards) often stopped to work. overall an awesome hostel!
