Liked: Jake was at the desk when I arrives and was very helpful during my stay. Not a huge place so not crowded. And the caravans are a great idea. Great location as well.

Disliked: Kitchen a bit small.

Liked: Nice outside chillout area which is great for socialising.

Disliked: Just 2 slices for breakfast are allowed and if you take one more, you'll probably find a photo of you in the kitchen from one of the cctv eyes.

Liked: Great pool, free breakfast, nice people. Aircons are working really good. Was my 13th hostel in Australia and the best. Thanks for the great time there!

Liked: The staff was great - Crusty for president :-). It is a small nice hostel, 10min walk to Alice Springs Centre and shopping facilities, the best place where you can stay in Alice!

Liked: We stayed just one night at Alice Lodge. but the staff was nice and helpfull. we started a tour to Uluru next day at 6am. You can make use of the breakfast even if you get on tour starting 4am. good location. just 5min walk into the todd mall.

Disliked: The air conditioning was turned on all night long. you can not turn it off. So it can get pretty cold in the night.

Liked: Good atmosphere, cool people, swimming pool, nice backyard, free wifi (even though its really slow and some pages are blocked)

Disliked: Extremely small rooms (no space to put any luggage at all), no pick-up service (even though on hostelbookers they say they do). The free breakfast is only until 9. 15 minute walk from town (even though Alice Springs is a tiny town)

Liked: Great, relaxing place to chill out in after your outback adventure :-)

Disliked: Breakfast packted away right at 9AM without giving people a chance who turned up 8:55... ok own fault as well.

Liked: Alice Lodge Backpackers offered free breakfast, 100 hours of free wifi and was located close to the city center! Nothing to complain about! Great staff - friendly. Good atmosphere - meeting nice people around the pool, nice garden to hang out. Everything for good price.
