Liked: Albany Backpackers had everything I needed and the beds were comfortable and warm on these chilly winter nights. It was central to the shops, ocean and mountain walks. Others staying there were friendly and polite. Who could ask for more?

Disliked: The microwaves need upgrading as the inside is flaking.... I really have no other complaints.

Liked: It had great spaces to read, chat, and watch TV in comfort. There were wonderful murals on the walls. We are over 50 and felt fine with the young travellers. It was clean and comfortable and Albany is just goooorgeous. Thanks Joanna.
