Liked: Nice bar, good pool. Some staff was really nice. Nice view.

Liked: Relaxed place, hammocks, pool, free wifi daytime. They don't tolerate noisy guests and will kick them out! Nice air-conned rooms.

Disliked: a little far from the strip but no big deal. Could do with getting rid of the ants round the patio area! Otherwise, no issues.

Liked: Staf behind the desk was very helpful and friendly. Took care of any booking we had without a problem. Facilities were pretty nice and clean and wifi was free!

Disliked: Only thing I may dislike about the place is that it may have been because of the location of the hostle, but the other hostles seem to be more full of parties and groups. We had a relatively quiet time , but then again, that could be a big plus as you wouldnt get waken up by drunks.

Liked: Nice, chilled out hostel. Rooms were clean and tidy with air-con. Free wifi during the day.

Disliked: Rooms were a bit small.

Liked: It was easy enough to get to, and quiet which was great as we were knackered from our bus journey. Rooms had air con and there was free wi-fi. I think this hostel is probably the best of what sounds like a bad bunch in terms of the hostels available at Airlie.

Disliked: I thought the kitchen needed a refurb- its pretty old and worn out. The cutlery/crockery wasn't that clean, and neither were the fridges. Bathrooms were so so.

Liked: nothing really

Disliked: The staff was very unfriendly an unhelpfull, they hardly say hello when you pass them. The pool was dirty so theres no point in having it there when no one is using it. I would definantly NOT recomend this place to anyone, there's so many other hostels in Airlie beach that is a lot more nice.

Liked: The hostel manager was amazing at helping us find a trip on the whitsundays to suit us. We also got a free nights accomodation and free luggage storage for booking with them. They have a nightly trivia quiz where you can win a bottle of champagne and a film shown outdoors every night too. The rooms were clean and spacious. Comfy beds, good showers. Can't really fault this place.

Liked: It is an attractive place, with a sea themed paint job. The beds all have a shelf near them so the room is less likely to get super messy. Sunsets are amazing. The staff were amazing, I was very appreciative of their non commercial attitude.

Disliked: Its not on the main street. But its in a prettier location.

Liked: The staff - Jess, Lucy, Zach and Nick - are excellent craic. Location is good - just a short walk to the city centre, with a shuttle bus running as well.

Disliked: Nothing at all.

Liked: Quiet and relaxed hostel, but only 5 mins walk from the centre of town- where all the party hostels are! Several movies and popcorn put on on a very rainy day, and regular lifts into town if you wanted.

Disliked: Stairs down to road broke my suitcase- but my own fault for taking the short route!

Liked: We stayed here for nearly a week over Christmas and had a great time. The hostel is very clean and has a nice kitchen area. There are lots of tours organised, and lots of events in the evening including a movie night every night, quizzes and more. Also has a bar and pool. Would stay again.

Liked: Trivia quiz, movie nights every day, unexpected transport to the hostel from greyhound, friendly staff, cheap beer.

Disliked: Security could be tighter, no lockers and doors left open.

Liked: 4 bed dorms max, great hot showers, free quiz every night where you can win champagne, followed by a movie on the big screen by the swimming pool, $12 pizza deals + drinks, nice outdoor area with loungers and hammocks.

Disliked: Room had a damp smell due to the humid weather during the day but was fine at night once the aircon came on.

Liked: Great location, just 10 minutes walk to Airlie Beach. Rooms were clean and had good air conditioning. Film played every night on big screen and there was a quiz so it was a good way to meet people and also a good way to have a fun night in while away without spending a fortune.

Disliked: Schoolies roaming around - although this was more due to the time of year than location.

Liked: It was a nice hostel... but mostly only for the people who were staying there. The hostel itself looked to be in need of a makeover. The location wasn't great either, but it wasn't a long walk into the main area of town.It was a nice stay though, and the movies and quiz nights got everyone to be social.I'd stay here again, but only for the social aspect of the hostel
