Liked: Good location, good room with fridge in room. Cheap laundry ($3 per load) and lots of space to hang out. Quiet at night. Sadly no kitchen facilities (the breakfast room doesn't count).

Liked: Right in the centre of airlie, fun lively bar. Liked the cabin dorms, so we were away from the hustle of the bar no noise! Only thing they could do with more seating areas in the kitchen and a shuttle bus from the bus depot would also be great.

Liked: Really good value for money. We stayed in a private double which is basic but you get what you pay for and the room has aircon and a fridge. Great location too

Liked: As long as you stay in a private room the noise-niveau is not too bad, you can practically sleep whenever you want - day, morning, afternoon, night.There is a lot going on during mostly nights - but especially thursday-friday-saturday of course. You meet people from a LOT of different countries - so just because you speak other languages than english you have to watch your tounge - people might understand you! (Wooops..)

Liked: Kitchen in a breakfast room! great place to go out as is on the main street and short walking distance form all the bars and lagoon luggage storage is a pain tho as u can only get in for about 3 minutes every hour and if u miss them u have to wait for another hour!

Liked: Location was really good. Staff helpfulness was vary. One of the blond staff was really nice to us but the other wasn't. I haven't seen any cleaner going through and clean the big dorm during our 2 night stay. All together it is a nice place to meet with International backpackers and worth for the money. :)

Liked: Good if you want to save money but not so good if you're setting sale first thing on the Whitsunday's and want a good night's sleep! Kitchen is pathetically equipped and actually describes itself as a Breakfast Room. We ended up using the free BBQ hotplates by the lagoon, fine in the event but would've been nice to have access to at least a gas ring!

Liked: The dorms at Magnums were good value for money considering its the cheapest hostel we found in Airlie. However we did have to pay to hire linen when we arrived which we were not informed of when we booked our stay. Also the kitchen is rubbish, there is no hob to cook on let alone a sauce pan so unless your prepared to live on toast or anything microwaveable you have to eat out which can work out expensive. The staff were friendly tho and its in a good location.

Liked: Good place to stay, lots of fun unless you have to get up 6am to go on a boat trip! There is a nightclub and bar right there which is really handy but the accommodation is far enough away that its not too loud in your room... until people start staggering back at 4am and making lots of noise. Supermarket just opposite, not far to walk from the Greyhound bus terminal.Kitchen too small - "breakfast room" rather than full on kitchen which is a bit annoying really as has some stuff but not others.

Liked: Nice location and layout. being in huts in the jungle is cool! also atm if you buy 3 nights accom you get another free making it 13.50 a night which is the best deal ever!would recommend
