Liked: Near the beach, ensuited room, free internet, balcony was nice.

Disliked: Have to rent cutlery and carry it upstairs and pay a deposit and I just don't want to do that. There's no proper loungeroom for socialising.

Liked: Great location on the beach, dorm had a view of the beach and was nice and spacious with ensuite. Free Wifi was a bonus! great prices on Whitsundays Tours and they offer free nights accommodation when booking!

Disliked: Kitchen facilites were poor and very old, no communal area

Liked: This hostel was great- the staff was SO helpful especially the girl who helped us book our tours, didn't get her name but she was great. Good location, very clean, I highly recommend staying here.

Disliked: The only negative was that the cooking area in the kitchen was a bit small once a few people got in there, but not a big deal overall.

Disliked: I had no window in my room. I couldn´t sleep really good during the night. And the hostel is in one food court --- in the night is really noisy

Liked: It was very clean. It was also quiet which was good and in a very good location, minutes walking from the lagoon and just behind the main street.

Disliked: It is a bit if a hassle if you want to cook in the kitchen, as you have to hire the equipment. But there is a food court and other restaurants in close proximity. If you are looking for a lively hostel then this place isn't for you.

Liked: Good discounts and special offers for the sailing trips. Clean.

Disliked: Absolutely no atmosphere, not a good hostel for solo travelers, no nice common room area. No lockers in the rooms. Additional charges for almost everything.

Liked: The whole complex is very clean, it was comforting to smell cleaning products. it was centrally located in a shopping mall. the backpackers is geared up for the whitsundays. book through them and u get free accomodation. we had a room for 4 with TV to our selves. they store your luggage for free and on return get a shower in there purpose built facilities on the top floor, which are perfectly clean and you get a clean towel.

Liked: Great female dorm with 2 en-suite showers for 8 beds. Balcony with great views.

Disliked: Kitchen facilities were terrible. small fridges, not enough hobs and all equipment had to be hired from reception.

Liked: The hostel was really clean, and the room was well equipped with a fridge and air con and en suite.

Disliked: I thought it was a bit odd that you had to pay an extra $20 deposit for a kitchen set. Most hostels have stuff in the kitchen that you could just use.

Liked: Clean rooms

Disliked: Nothing to dislike, although I wasn't informed the complex gets gated off at night so I had to call security as I had removed the fob (which you need to get in when It's gated) from the key as was at a wedding and didn't want a bulky fob in my tight trousers. Would have been nice to have been told that this was the case.

Liked: first time i Stayed there was good: big room with balkony und big window, clean, two showers for 8 girls.

Liked: The common area, a few different restaurants to choose from, and right across the beach

Disliked: They charge you $2.00 per day to store your luggage after you have checked out.

Liked: Very clean, hotel feel with air-conditioned rooms, great location by the waterfront, balconies with views and within a complex containing several nice restaurants

Disliked: $20 deposit to borrow cutlery, luggage room not free
