Airlie Waterfront Backpacker’s Terms & Conditions: Reception is open from 7am - 8pm so EARLY CHECK OUTS MUST BE INFORM RECEPTION (before 7am) Check Out time is strictly 10am. To extend your stay, you must pay before 10am. NO SMOKING or ALCOHOL in ROOMS. Smoking is permitted on the outside balconies only. If the fire alarms are activated an incurred cost of the fire brigade visit will be charged to the guest responsible.

Cancellation Policy

Customers can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 3 days before arrival (local time). Payments made to HostelBookers are non-refundable.

Welcome to Airlie Waterfront Backpackers, located in Airlie Beach, the gateway to the beautiful Whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef.

We are magnificently located across from the beach and foreshore, and just a short stroll from the Main Street, lagoon and bus interchange station, which is drop off point of Greyhound and Premier Buses.

Our Hostel is quiet, so you can relax, yet close to all attractions in Main Street, where you can find bars, shops and pubs. We offer several types of Accommodation styles to cover all your needs as well as fully equipped kitchen, reception and information wall.

Located in the Beach Plaza will also allow you to enjoy some local discounts in Indian restaurant Get That India, Sushi Hi, Noodle Bar or Salt Seafood Bar & Grill and theirs cocktail bar. You will also be able to enjoy great breakfast Menu’s from Side Walk Café and Salt bar.

Our rooms are modern and they are one of the best value in the region thanks to recent refurbishment which allowed us to add some extras such as Air-Condition (AC) in every room, en suite showers & toilets in most of the rooms and stunning balconies with amazing views of the beach and Islands around us, equipped with sun lounges and sitting areas.
