Liked: Nice staff. Nice rooms. two rooms share one kitchen and one bathroom. We stayed in a standard cabin. free pick-up service from bus station.

Disliked: old and noisy air conditioning. during the day it gets very very hot in this cabins. 2,5km walk to airlie beach centre.

Liked: Everything. The owner was a bit miserable but the man who worked there was amazing! He picked us up from the bus even though we hadn't mentioned it. He gave us loads of information about whitsunday tours and really looked after us. The rooms were really clean and i liked the shared kitchen and bathroom even for double rooms so your not totally isolated. Its a little bit out of the centre but its a nice walk to town or theres a bus or you can hitch a ride with the guy going into town. YOU MUST STAY HERE

Liked: the common room is like being at home in the sitting room,watching movies and its totally chilled out.really relaxing.great double rooms with a kitchen attached that you share with another room.best place i've stayed so far and really clean.

Disliked: i cant think of anything.i had a great time and wanna stay.

Liked: The included breakfast was very nice, and we did like the format of having a self-contained cabin (own bathroom, kitchen and TV for 6 people). Not a noisy place, and very close to a big supermarket. All cooking equipment provided plus a fridge.

Disliked: The shabbiness of our cabin was a definite let-down compared to all the other hostels we've stayed in over the past 3 months of travelling. It seemed that some of the other cabins were being improved, but we weren't in one of them! The guy driving the shuttle bus seemed pretty unhappy with his lot in life, and we didn't get a good vibe about the place because of his attitude, but we had to use the bus for various reasons, and therefore had to encounter this guy a few times. The place was a bit out of the main drag of Airlie Beach, and had no atmosphere: felt like we were at the hostel time had forgotten and that we should have booked into one in the town itself. Overall felt a bit isolated and at times that we, as the guests, were an inconvenience. Were also told that we couldn't use the free shuttle bus to the Marina because we hadn't booked our sailing trip through them, which felt a little unfair!

Liked: postive :we stayed in one of the deluxe doubles which was lovely - air con - lovely bathroom- comfy double bed - very clean - courtesy bus 13 or more times a day down into the main areanegative : nowhere to hang clothes up

Liked: that we were only there one night! I know it was just a pack backers place but it was marketed as Boutique. the cabin i stayed in was horrid. it was clean but not particularly nice.

Liked: Awesome staff - so friendly and we were upgraded into the new, very well appointed studio units just because they were free. Talk about awesome!

Liked: Manager very helpful, shuttle service is pretty good, but not helped by being next to a church and the amount of wild animals that will stop you from having any kind of decent sleep if in rooms 1-8. Noises apparently caused by birds sounds like bombs going off and no night staff on hand to assist in any way with this Also, expected slightly more from breakfast but it is free so. and a very small cold looking pool.

Liked: Was expecting more chalet type accomodation though feels more like staying in a garden summerhouse/shed. Think we had an older style one which could def do with updating, windows not closing properly, or door so didn't feel too secure. Very cramped for the 6 people in it, should really only be 4. Luckily girls that were sharing were great so made it more enjoyable. Friendly staff, and much appreciated mini bus!
