Hubertine JongenThe facilities are super and the 4-bed dorm is huge. It´s a pretty long walk into town (30-40 min.) but taxi´s are cheap and actually the walk TO town with the view on the mountains is superb on a sunny day! |

Stefan Prischingawesome hostel, really friendly and helpful staff. It's not really a party hostel, but if you're in Ushuaia, you're probably not here for partying anyway. It's in a quiet location, on the border of the city. Apart from the 10 peso-taxi there's also a bus leaving near the bus station, should be either line A or C, but I don't know on which side of the street you need to wait, probably best to ask the driver.. (ticket costs 1.80 peso). It's def. more than 20 mins. from the bus station, more like 35-40.. If you want to get some tours organized, just ask at the reception, they are very helpful, and might even organize pick up infront of the hostel. One of the bests hikes, is to the Laguna esmerald (40 peso for the bus, 8 peso entrance), National Park is also nice (50 entrance, 50 bus). If you're only staying two or three days, don't do the glacier it's not worth it. taxi up there is 20 peso (one way), there's also a bus from the center for 20 peso (round trip). If you do the pinguins, be sure to take the tour that drops you off at the island, so you can walk with the pinguins (240 peso). Although the pinguin tour in Punta Arenas is cheaper (around half the price), and the pinguin colony is way bigger there.. |

Andrea Cembranelli-Very friendly staff! -Great place to know people. -Cosy atmosphere. -Bad things: since the common areas are too close to the rooms, it is a little hard to sleep at night due to the noise. -It has only one computer with internet access and it is highly disputed. -Too far away from downtown: it's a 30, 40-minute walk to there or a 10-pesos ride in cab. |

RADU BALASOIUThe hostel is within 20 min. walking distance to the heart of the city but it's into a very quiet location, right close to the airport. Our twin bed room was excellent, clean and spacious. Free laundry, maps, guides, books, exchange, local calls.... Use Remis (a cheaper kind of taxi). Very kind staff! Thanks to LUCAS and CHRIS!!! Very good money value for Ushuaia! I recommend for an 4x4 +canoes ride Nunatak, and for a complete 9h Beagle Channel tour incl. pinguins &Haberton Ranch Tolkeyen companies. |

Heather DuttonIt was probably the nicest hostel I have ever stayed in. It was extremely clean and there was a cleaning lady that came every day to make your bed and clean the entire hostel. There were several different kitchen facilities to use and the staff were VERY helpful and super friendly! The only downside was the location because it is a little bit outside of the main town, but taxis are cheap so overall it didnt even matter. |

Karen StoneThis hostel was fantastic and so clean. The staff were so helpful and the cabin we stayed in was like home from home. We would definitely recommend this hostel and actually stayed longer than we intended because of the hostel. |
