Liked: Great staff, very helpful. The hostel has everything you would expect from a hostel. They keep it clean, but there are a few things that need to be fixed on the property - doors, toilets, urinals, trash in the yard area needs to be picked up. Again, it's an okay hostel. A little overpriced, and needs a little more love, but comfortable enough.

Liked: Breakfast is good with fresh eggs that you can cook yourself and oranges to squeeze for fresh juice. Bread is not bad as well, cause bread we had at local restaurants are not good at all!We were in the room with 6beds and luckily only 3of us in the room, room is ok and warm enough for the night. Nothing special about the room.

Disliked: Staff was not friendly at all, and in the beginning she wanted to charge us more and when i showed her the email, she said that she did not send me that email!! At the end she said that she will give me the price that hostelbooker gave me. Then the rest of our stay she was not nice to us at all. When we were there weather was nice and dry so no problem walking up and down to town(it is around 1.2km) to main street. So good exercise after meal, but if weather is wet or ice not sure how it goes!

Liked: All of it - comfort, location and staff (Alejandra & Alejandro). It is an older property, but the rooms are warm and the staff are lovely. It has a kitchen and lounge area (located above the kitchen - worth mentioning as I notice some reviewers have mentioned how the kitchen is the only common area which is incorrect). The breakfasts include eggs (a selling point in itself when compared with the usual hostel breakfast fare).Yes, access to the bathrooms means having to go outside, however they're just outside the room doors (ie close by). Considering you leave and return to rooms with heated floors, it's but a minor inconvenience (and certainly not a noticeable one). It's only a 10 minute walk into town (up hill on the return, but manageable) and has great views of town and the Beagle Channel. There is a small grocery store just behind the hostel so no need to walk into town for most groceries. It also has a beautiful dog as one of the more permanent residents.I have stayed at what is rated as the best hostel in Ushuaia and I think this hostel trumps it by far (it's also not as noisy at this one).

Disliked: Nothing to mention here.
