Liked: Its in a good location, just a short walk to the town centre.

Disliked: We booked a private double on HostelBookers, expecting to get a private room with a double bed. Instead we got put in a 4 bedded bunk dorm and told this was our private double because they weren't going to put other people in our dorm!! FYI Tigre Hostel... this is not what 'private double' means in the rest of South America!! Unlike!! Other disappointments: The place you see on the photos is the nice hotel across the street. The hostel is rather more plain and has a bachelor pad feel to it (think greasy dirty dishes piled high in the kitchen). Also, the walls are thin so expect to hear every conversation in the room next door.
