Liked: Very clean and friendly. We liked it so much we twice extended our stay, and we aren't out yet. Might even extend more.

Liked: I will recommend everybody this hostel! It was very clean, homelike, with a big kitchen, the room was clean and spacios, the staff was kind and attentive, they helped with excursions, explain everything! It was like a home stay!

Liked: Lovely hostel, though a new hotel type construction, which is fine. Vary spacious, whislt only a few people staying here at the time, its indoor facilities are great.

Liked: Quiet, small hostel run by lovely family. Location is several blocksfrom main road but an easy walk to everything. Hostel has a great kitchen / dinning area so easy to meet people.

Liked: Clean and friendlly but on the outskirts of town. Good breakfast. The Hostel was quiiet but the neighbourhood had a lot of dogs that spent a fair amount of the night barking. In a month in Argentina this was the only hostel where we had this problem.

Liked: Great hostel and probably one of the best we{ve stayed in on our travels. Really good circulation space on the ground floor to chill out, cook and have fun. top hostel and would love to stay longer!

Liked: it was 3 months since we were there but its been on my mind to leave a nice message about this place. Santi is one of those lovely guys in life - he often went well out of his way to make our stay great, from getting up at 5am to feed us before leaving ( seriously!) , to helping us with our tedious travel logistics and sharing his fresh rainbow trout! i really just had to leave something to say that this is a lovely safe happy hostel and i look forward to seeing Santi again someday -(you know how sometimes your experience can be better by the people you meet -dont ignore the other messages below!) highly recommended to you all if coming to this beautiful little place

Liked: Large, open kitchen and lounge room. Not close to central town, but a good place to stay. Staff helpful and friendly. Can be very noisy as tiled floors are great for echoes. Bunk rooms are basic but very clean. Town is very pretty.

Liked: A really great hostel, where you feel like home. Very clean, warm, totally new bathrooms (4* hotel quality) and a great kitchen. If Santiago (the owner) would be a woman, I would marry him - he is the best Hostelman I have ever met!!!THANKS for everything!!!!!!!

Liked: The under floor heating throughout the hostel was a perfect way to keep us warm. However, the best feature of the hostel was the owner, Santi. Santiago bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed and assisted us in our organisation with fly fishing excurions and costings of hire cars. I highly recommend the hostel.

Liked: Santiago and his family go one step further than most hostels to provide a great stay for guests. The living/kitchen areas are spacious and well designed with a lot of little touches to make it feel like home and the quiet dorms have sparkling, generous bathrooms. But it is the family that really make it special - who else would get up at 4:30 to make coffee for an early departing guest and worry when you haven´t come back from a walk? Liked: Well, after a 32 days trip and eight hostels, I should say that Ladera Norte is a well succeeded combination of family management (Santiago is an efficient and gentle one-man show, with the help of his mother-in-law...) and a genuine atmosphere for the guests to meet each other: a safe parking lot, a barbecue place in the wide backyard and a very large room which serves as collective kitchen, with big wooden dinner tables, tv room and office for check in... These itens made conversation between foreign travellers easier and more pleasant. And the small city of San Martin also contibutes with some special charm.
