Liked: Very familiar atmosphere, great garden and swimming pool and staff was very friendly and helpful, they agve lots of tips for eating, travelling and what to do in the area...shame we did´t have enough time ... Good breakfast, nice room and spacious bathroom

Disliked: have to walk 15 min to get to the bus station

Disliked: no lockers but reception will look after things for you

Liked: Los chicos que llevan el hostel son muy agradables. Los entornos que tiene y algunos de los servicios (piscina, sala de juegos, sala de TV, el jardín...) está todo súper cuidado. El desayuno es genial!! Tiene agua caliente, un punto importante a su favor

Disliked: La distancia a recorrer desde la terminal de ómnibus hasta el hostel, si se va muy cargado se hace más larga de lo que es... mejor ir en taxi.

Liked: Big hostel, big room, huge garden. Also a massive open wood burning in the kitchen was a nice touch. Room had great air con which turned into good heater for winter.

Disliked: Cold toast at breakfast but a good selection of tea!

Liked: Relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. The garden is huge and perfect for chilling out in.

Disliked: Nothing. (perhaps the mosquitoes!)

Liked: The pool was AMAZING! Big, clean and well kept. Huge garden with swings, see-saws etc. Lovely big lounge/dining area.

Disliked: Lockers needed in the dorms or reception area, even if they´re little ones for just valuable, rather than your whole bag. There´s enough space for them after all!

Liked: Lovely clean large pool. Friendly staff and guests. Communal cooking and definitely the huge shared BBQ on our last day. Great proximity to the Jesuit Ruins (hard not to be in such a small town!)

Disliked: Unavailability of taxi's from bus station (needed to walk in in the 40C heat)and expensive when we caught one the day we left.

Liked: We stayed in a 4 bed dorm the first night, the beds were fine and the room was spacious but the ensuite bathroom was pretty bad. There was a terrible smell in it the whole time. We moved to the private double ensuite the following night as we decided to stay two days instead of one in San Ignacio. There's not a whole lot to do there other than the ruins which are very interesting and definitely worth a visit! The private double room was much nicer, it was like being in a different hostel! Towels, comfy bed, tv, clean(ish) bathroom and hot shower! Location is excellent!

Disliked: The staff were not very approachable. It seemed to us like their friends were there all the time as there was always a group of at least 4 people hanging around at the reception desk chatting, drinking, together etc. It did seem a little intimidating at times. There was one male and one female staff member that were friendly and helpful. Very little english though so was difficult at times! Breakfast was terrible. Cold, chewy burnt toast, coffee and cake!

Liked: The rooms are very nice - and very private, centered around nicely landscaped walkways. Breakfast was excellent and there was live music in the evening which was really pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful and let us relax in the common area while waiting for our afternoon bus.

Liked: The place was dirty and many things didn´t work right. We felt unwelcome by the staff. There was a nice game room, but it was full of locals drinking beer and guests couldn´t use it.

Liked: We loved the relaxed atmosphere of the hostel. Great pool and the most relaxing comfortable hammocks ever! Great location and helpful staff. Loved it!!!!
