Overview

"Gramma´s House" was just that, the house where Gramma and Grampa lived since they bought it in 1950 to make their home there.

Not only did their children, Nena and Abraham, grow up there, but also many nieces, nephews and friends who came in from the country and made it their home. Today, almost 50 years later, the idea of making this house a hostel came from Gramma, who before she died said "when I am not here any more I want my house to still be the home of many". That is why her children and grandchildren opened the doors for all those people who want to stay in a warm, homelike and cheerful place with all the comforts that modern life demands, and, above all, without spending a lot.
Entering the house we encounter the porch from which we can see the front hall which leads to the reception area and the front garden.
In a corner of the garden there is a cactus patch with different species of fatty plants native to northern Argentina.
Standing in the reception hall we can enjoy the view of the interior patio.
Two of our bedrooms, which every morning are bathed in sunlight through the windows which open on the patio.

The patio invites us to penetrate further into the house, arriving via some twists and turns at the nook where the guests gather to chat.

The office, where reservations are made and everything is kept under control.
The hearth, with its warmth, invites us to gather before it and exchange tales of our adventures in our travels, accompanied by a little something prepared in the kitchen.

In the back patio are the grapevines which in the summertime offer us their delicious grapes as well as their shade, and in the winter shed their leaves to let in Salta´s warm winter sunshine.
From the back patio we gain access to the bedrooms on the ground floor, and also to those on the first floor, where the laundry room is.

Entering the rooms, we find the double deck bunks made by "Don Anselmo", of cedar, which adds warmth to the atmosphere.
The baths, clean and pleasant, with natural light.
