Liked: it feels like home!!! wonderful and new refurnished room (silence) and facilities, very very clean!!! excellent breakfast (bread, ham, cheese, homemade jam, fresh coffee (no instant) or tea. really large and clean pool and chillout-aera with hammocks. owner also provides daytours -> very personalized and competent. we were one day in san antonio and it was perfect. 100 % recommended. best place I have stayed in argentina!!!

Liked: My girlfriend and I stayed at Poncho Huasi Guest House near Salta while travelling around South America. The room and breakfast (including home grown fresh figs!) were great, and Nick and Alicia proved to be amazing hosts. They welcomed us into their lovely home, and at all times went the extra yard to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. For example, they picked us up from the bus station when we just arrived, let us use their personal computer to upload photos to send home, and gave us valuable advice on trips and tours. At the end of the stay we even went out for a lovely meal with them to say goodbye. All in all I would definitely recommend staying with Nick and Alicia.

Disliked: The only downside for us was that it was slightly outside Salta itself, however this did not prove to be a problem as there were very regular buses to and from the centre which stop about 20 meters down the road from the guest house.

Liked: Fantastically helpful staff. Lovely rooms and large common area. Good breakfast. Nice quiet B&B with only four rooms. Owners provide free transport from bus terminal or airport.

Disliked: 15km out of Salta.

Liked: The hosts are a very, very nice couple and they helped us a lot in giving good information, helping us to organize trips, making us really feel at home. The hostel is nicely equipped with antique furniture. It has a huge garden with an enourmous pool where you can relax after returning from your adventurous tours!The athmosphere is absolutely fantastic!

Disliked: The suburb the hostel is located in does not offer much, so you always have to go into town.

Liked: We really enjoyed our stay in Cerrillos, nice people and it's only a 15 minutes busdrive to Salta. Nice place to relax and we loved the swimmingpool with beautiful view.

Liked: This is an excellent guesthouse, run by the incredibly friendly and helpful Anglo-Argetine couple, Nick and Alicia, who really go out of their way to make your stay an excellent experience. Rooms are spacious, the pool and garden is fantastic and best of all are the pets! A wonderful place!

Liked: Extremely friendly staff. Great service and knowledge about the surrounding areas. The guided tour was fantastic. The atmosphere in the place was relaxed - and it really felt genuine. The food and service at the bistro across the street was of the highest quality to half of "normal" price.
