Poncho Huasi is a countryside B&B just a few miles from the old colonial city of Salta in North West Argentina.

It is the home of Alicia, a local, and her husband Nick, from the UK.

They both speak English: and they’re happy to help you organise your holiday.

They offer a personal service from beginning to end: collecting you from the airport or bus station at no extra cost.

Poncho Huasi is an old colonial house built of adobe, with traditional terracotta floors, and antique furniture.

There are only four guest rooms so the place never feels like a hotel: and there’s a huge garden and large swimming pool with a fantastic view of the hills.

The B&B is right on the RN68, the Wine Route from Salta to Cafayate, making it an excellent base to explore the marvellous variety of countryside in North West Argentina and only a half hour bus ride from Salta city centre.

Alicia and Nick can help you plan your holidays throughout North West Argentina and, if you wish, arrange tailor-made tours with English speaking guides.

Alicia, a teacher, also provides Spanish lessons.
