Liked: It´s very cozy and nice. a big garden, Pingpong, fuzball and gear setup for biger gatherings like new year. Very helpfull staf, location is like 4 blocks from downtown.

Disliked: Perhaps that the Wifi went down a couple of times so you had to restart the router. Just inform the staff. Nothing else.

Liked: Everything. A model hostel.

Disliked: Disliked nothing, although for some people distance from center and grocery store may be an issue.

Liked: Very friendly staff. Nice patio. Very clean and safe. Good recommendations for the trips around, we did horse riding and had a great time :-) litlle walking from the center but it was really ok! wifi worked fine.

Liked: This hostel was fantastic - had loads of lovely outdoor space - a sunny garden and also cooler corridors with little tables in the shade. The kitchen was big with everything we needed to cook our own food. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Location was perfect to walk to centre of town. Great place to stay.

Liked: Its a nice place, nice rooms safe storage 3 budget computers

Disliked: Its a long way out from town, for the main market its a 20 minute walk, for the clubs and bars its more like half an hour. It seems to be more private room focused, so its great for couples (and lots of couples seem to come here) but for a lone traveller there is no real common area, no one drinks at the bar, so not that easy to meet people

Liked: We stayed in an ensuite 6-bed dorm and it was great - very clean, decent sized with large lockable cabinets in the room. The staff is really what makes this place stand out. They are friendly all the time, helpful when you need it and overall just genuinely nice people. Some reviewers have mentioned the location as a negative, but we didn't mind the short walk into the center at all.

Liked: This is easily one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in, particularly as a solo traveller. The set up of facilities (bar, BBQs twice per week, outdoor chilling areas) made it possible for me to meet many new people every day, some of which I ended up travelling further with. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, bathrooms cleaned often, etc. I do not have anything negative to say about the hostel itself and would recommend it to anybody looking for a great hostel experience.

Disliked: The only downside somewhat related to the hostel was that I booked a tour through them and specifically asked for an English speaking guide but ended up with one who spoke only a little English and made little effort to use that to translate for me as the others on the tour spoke very good Spanish. I think what happened was that I wanted an advertised add-on to the tour and the hostel's original choice could not offer it for the date I needed so they went with a second option. This is more a criticism of the tour company than the hostel but I encourage you to check and double check this point if you really want an English speaking guide for a tour the hostel arranges.

Liked: Nice relaxing courtyard and very clean facilities. Rommsare cleaned everyday.

Disliked: There was a loud rooster crowing every morning starting at 4am. Earplugs did the job.

Liked: Clean, particularly the bathrooms, helpful staff on reception, location was fine, and the showers were really good.

Disliked: Really bad mattresses- both myself and my boyfriend had a sore neck and back after staying here. Also, the kitchen was very poorly equipped- we had to keep going to the bar to ask for knives and spoons. The hostel had a bit of a strange vibe- the staff were quite rule bound and seemed to check up on us in the kitchen to make sure we weren't chopping up veg in the eating area. It also felt like they were acting as some kind of cutlery police as we then had to keep returning the items to the bar. Might be better to just invest in more utensils.....

Liked: this is a wonderful place to stay. it is nice and clean and the staff is amazingly kind. the shower was the best I have had on the trip and was even in a stall and not over a toilet. very exciting. It is a bit of a walk (8 blocks) from town, but that didnt bother me at all and was well worth it. seemed to be lots of families here if that makes a difference to you. I enjoyed the quiet of it. they also have private singles so those traveling solo dont have to pay for 2 people which is a welcome change.

Liked: Great outside spaces, especially the garden in the inner courtyard. Hostel overall is quite airy. Nice that they had a bar, although I didn't use it - the hostel was fairly quiet the night I was there.

Disliked: I had a bit of a weird experience there. I had been attacked by bedbugs at my previous stop and after I mentioned this (I needed a laundry place and a pharmacy), I was asked to move to a different room (no reason given). It turned out to be a twin where they'd removed one mattress. I completely applaud them trying to make sure the bugs didn't spread (in case any had come with me) - that's great. The problem was that the way it was done made me feel like a persona non grata. They could've just been straight about it, which I wouldn't have minded at all, but instead they didn't tell me why I had to move (after I'd unloaded my entire bag to spray it). The guy even told me afterwards he'd "heard I'd been bitten by mosquitoes or something and if I needed a doctor to let him know" - as if there wasn't a reason why sheets, covers and all from the dorm went to the laundry, when all I'd done was put a shawl on top of the bed cover...
