Liked: The hot showers are good - just run in shouting "la ducha es frio!!!" and the hot water WILL be turned on. The kittens are cute.

Disliked: Breakfast isn't really enough to spend a full day at a national park on - which most people go to Madryn to do... Beds were made the morning after we arrived.

Liked: The double and triple rooms with private bathrooms in the back by the kitchen are really nice. Kitchen was spacious and big common area to eat/drink. Hector also gave us tons of advice about our day every morning at breakfast. super hot water.

Disliked: There was some noise from a nearby club and people in the kitchen early morning.

Liked: The people running this hostel couldn't have been more friendly & helpful, we arranged all our trips through them and they made everything really easy for us. A lovely little hostel which I would recommend to anyone visitng Puerto Madryn

Disliked: If you are looking for a party hostel then this isn't it but if you want a good clean friendly place to stay then I'd recommend this place.

Liked: It was extremely noisey. The walls are so thin and our room was next to the reception, my bed was next to the wall and I could hear every key being typed on the computer, every word being spoken, every time someone went to the toilet and then at around 3am the night club down the road started with their really loud music. The hostel is spilt in two parts with the kitchen at the back in a different building, its a good size kitchen although food was stolen, I know this isnt the hostels fault. Also we booked a tour and made lunch the day before and the kitchen was locked, we left at 8am and still it was locked with no sign off any staff even after I went to the front gate and rang the bell.

Liked: The staff were very helpful and friendly and really went out of there way to help book trips etc. The room we stayed in was spotless and cooking facilties and space to enjoy and relax both inside and outside were great.

Liked: We are 60 and 63 and we did not feel out of place. The two peoplewho keep the place, are very helpful and friendly. There is a garden where you can eat or share your dinner with the two big lovely dogs.

Liked: The hostel had everything you could need - hot showers, a bed and a kitchen...but we felt it was just lacking that Vibe, or homely feel. All in all though a nice place to lay your head.
