Liked: Lovely place!! Gaston is a great guy, and the people who were staying there at the moment were very interesting and nice. I am going back there for sure! Gaston, si lees esto, me sabe mal por River, acabo de volver del Monumental!!

Disliked: That I could not stay longer!!

Liked: The owner was great a really nice guy.

Disliked: This hostel was recommended to us by a number of people and at the minute i can not think why. The Dorm rooms are very cramped with a limited space to put your bags, there is no room key so security is not great. The kitchen was small but it was clean i suppose. The bathrooms were very dated with 70's style decor and not great and the breakfast was very basic. The location was a negative too - quite far out from the main centre of Puerto Madryn.

Liked: Gaston is a really nice and enthusiastic guy :)You will feel really at home at this hostel. Every night a diner is cooked, which is a big expensive, but oké. It's really easy to book trips in the hostel and they will pick you up from the hostel which is really handy.

Liked: Very helpful and friendly staff who will help with organising tours, car rentals, hostels and bus tickets. Federico and the two Gastons were brilliant. Asado on the last night was lovely and more than enough meat to feed all.

Disliked: Cannot bring your own alcohol in but the bar is reasonably priced and the wine is very nice.

Liked: Really relaxing but fun hostel. The staff are really helpful and friendly. Nice courtyard where everyone hangs out in the evening, Gastons asado was great (and i am not a big meat eater). Close to the beach and not far from the centre.

Liked: Nice hostel! Everyone that works there is super nice and helpful and speak perfect English. If you aren´t interested in taking the tours they are great at hooking you up with fellow travelers to rent cars together. Facilities are fine (it is an old house they converted into a hostel) and clean. Highly recommend it!

Disliked: Kitchen can get a bit crowded.

Liked: Really friendly and helpful staff. Fredrico, Gaston, Gaston II, Caronina, Alexandria (soz if we spelt your names wrongly). Couldn´t do enough to help us, from booking buses, hiring cars, recommending onwad hostels and great BBQ´s - Bernice, Huw & Fiona

Disliked: Maybe stop recommending Lobo Larson Dive centre. Really bad experience - poor equipment, dive procedures not followed, just given equipment seconds before entering water and told to go. No checks, no care, bad attitude when we suggested equipment might not be working properly. Overall dissapointing. Promises made and not kept. Best not to be associated with them. - Bernice, Huw & Fiona

Liked: Nice and familiar atmosphere, easy to get in contact with new people, staff is helpful and friendly, nice terrass to sit outside, big offer of tours, really close to the beach,

Disliked: bathrooms are not clean at all, no air condition and no aeration (bathrooms), no safe, rooms could not be locked from inside, 15 minutes walk to the center (but in the area around the hostel is all you need)

Liked: The Staff was really friend and gave us great tips to enjoy our days in Puerto Madryn. The room was big and confortable.

Disliked: The hostel should accept credit cards. It was very difficult to pay such a big amount of money (the three nights and all the trips we booked) in cash, because there are few banks in Puerto Madryn and there was no electricity in the last night we spent in Puerto Madryn. Terrible!!!! The hostel was clean, in general, but the bathroom of our room was not very clean! There were old soaps left there and the shower was dirty.

Liked: Loved the atmosphere and the staff. The breakfast was great, definitely better than most we´ve had on this trip! The 4 bed dorm was spacious with huge lockers and lovely clean, white douvet covers. Very homey and easy to meet people in the multiple common areas.
