Liked: Maru and Gabriel r such nice people (although they r argentinians - just kiding to keep the good mood between brazilians and our dears hermanos). They (with their staff) were very welcoming with my wife and I, gave us lots of tips about places to visit and I can garantee you we had a lovely time. Also the other guests were nice people with lots of stories to share.

Disliked: there is some traffic noise that penetrates some of the rooms but the owner/managers can do nothing about it. Also the breakfast is the normal so adequate but not exciting.

Liked: The staff made you feel at home. They were incredibly helpful with booking tours and onward journeys. The hostel had a great atmosphere with a good mix of people. It was clean and in a perfect location. I wish I had more time on my trip so I could have stayed longer.

Disliked: Bikes are old and not in good conditions, the pump was broken and we almost got stranded, BBQ was a bit expensive for what we got but tasty none the lest,

Liked: Extremely clean hostel. Great barbeque to meet others.

Disliked: After check out you had to pay $10 to use the shower if you were staying there a bit later to wait for the bus. We haven´t experienced this in other hostels.

Liked: fabulous hostel, always sparkling clean. Staff are great and extremely helpful with tours and help with booking buses etc. which we found a big help. Very easy to meet people, decent breakfast, great kitchen and facilities. They cooked an asado on Fri night which was delicious.

Disliked: Only thing in the double rooms the road can be a little noisy. But nothing to do with the hostel itself. Loved our stay here.

Liked: Friendly and helpful staff is well-informed and can assist you with any request. Excellent location. Hosts an asado on Fridays that gets rave reviews. Lots of info on tours and activities in the area. Conveniently sells large bottles of water and other drinks on site. Good ratio of bathrooms to rooms/people. A clean, well-run hostel. Hostels in Argentina have run me 50-75 pesos/night. So, at 55/night Chepatagonia is affordable and *very good value for the money*. For the price I have *no complaints*.

Disliked: As mentioned, for the price I have *no complaints*. If I were to change anything, I'd like to see the addition of some niceties like hand soap in the bathrooms; salt, pepper, oil and vinegar for common use in the kitchen; and a nonstick frying pan for cooking. (Scrambling eggs in a pot is a little bit of a challenge.) I wouldn't mind seeing a price increase to 60/night to compensate for this!

Liked: Large closets kept rooms tidy Dorms are only 4 beds Courtyard and asado are nice Location is excellent, spitting distance from the beach

Disliked: They booked a tour for us but forgot to tell us it was in Spanish. This tour was also 30% more than if we had booked it directly. Also they recommended that we bike to a sea lion colony and said it was partly on a dirt road. In reality it was 14 km on a sand road. Afterwards any local that we talked to was amazed that we had made it at all. It made us angry that they just recommended it to us so that they could make money on the bike rental.

Liked: Everything! Next to the beach which was amazing! Really helpful with tours! Good facillities, really friendly. Good to chill or party! AMAZING BBQ! Gracias Gabrielle y familia!

Liked: Great location a half block from the beach, very comfortable open spaces, great wifi, amazingly helpful staff!!! Breakfast was also pretty good. The staff also work in-conjunction with a travel agency that does tours but they don't push so you don't feel obligated. Whilst there we stumbled on an amazing pizza and pasta place called Puerto Pasta - one block back then turn left for a block and a half. Great stay.
