Liked: Nice swimming pool. Relaxed, easy going vibe.

Disliked: The dogs were friendly enough but some people may not like having so many big dogs around.

Liked: the dogs were cute

Disliked: We have read bad reviews about hostels a lot of hostels and thought they were just 'being picky' HOWEVER we stayed here thinking maybe the bad reviews were ott.... BUT they are all correct! do not stay here! 1. We stayed for 4 nights and our room was not cleaned and our 'toilet bin' was not changed one! (We emptied it ourselves) 2. I got bad bed bugs ( I can supply pics if needed! VERY ITCHY!~!!!!!!!! 3. No compensation or apology for the fact we 1. had bedbugs and 2. had to spray the bed ourselves. We were not offered an alternative room OR compensation. 4. Certain 'nationalaties' make this a bad place to stay..... rude and noisy 5. kitchen... grubby and lack of pots, pans and plates AND had a scourer that looked like it had been there for centuries. 6. bins in kitchen looked like they hadn't been changed in weeks! 7. The shower was SO bad i had to wash my hair in the sink!

Disliked: The man at the reception desk can be very rude. It's not very clean.

Liked: The pool and outside kitchen and bar area. Friendly staff and Xmas dinner! Eddie's cocktails were legendary.

Disliked: Bathroom facilities limited for the number of guests. Needed the toilets to be separate from the showers.

Liked: It had the essentials; we needed a place to shower & sleep...they provided it.

Disliked: Cats; animals are mentioned on the site, but not that their hair/fur covers all the furniture. Staff could also have been more reactive/friendly; the general impression was they that didn't really want to do the job.

Liked: There was a good DVD collection, useful as not a lot to do in the evenings. Like most hostels in the town, it was near the supermarket and the bus station. The female hostess was friendly and informative. Kitchen had most things you needed to cook.

Disliked: It is not worth saving your money to stay here!! DOG HAIR EVERYWHERE! No attempt to clean it up! The uncomfortable sofas are covered and stink of dog!! Although the dogs are not allowed in rooms or kitchens we found dog hair in the bathroom, on our beds and even in the orange juice at breakfast!!! The toilet had a poor flush and the small overflowing bin was emptied once in our three day stay, so it stinks!! My bf misplaced his flipflops and found them on the owners feet - apparently he was wearing them (instead of putting them behind reception) so the dogs didnt destroy them!! The internet (wifi) would randomly cut out. The male hostess was rude. He came across as quite abrupt. The matresses are poor and many dip in the middle. Breakfast was the worst in Argentina. The swimming pool was grimy and didnt look or feel clean.

Liked: Decent place. Showers are interesting - hot water at low pressure only - but usable. Staff is very helpful. Located close to the bus station, but not in the center - quiet.

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.

Liked: Decent facilities and good location

Disliked: The staff were very grumpy and unhelpful, and didn't have a clue about some of the things mentioned on the hostelbookers site (e.g. wouldn't allow a book swap, depsite there being a massive book shelf full of books, no towels when it said they were included and no lockers)

Liked: The guy on reception (whilst having major mood swings) spoke very good English and was very informative about the Falls.

Disliked: Very cold at this time of year & blankets provided are insufficient to the extent that we had to use our own sleeping bags in bed. The common room is open to the elements all the time to allow the dogs & cats access - not ideal when it's 7 degrees and raining outside. We were aware on booking that there were dogs & cats at the property which didn't bother us, however we did not appreciate that we would have to fight them for the sofa. The kitchen is totally inadequate with one pan provided and no plates! There are 3 plastic bowls and some cutlery.

Liked: You really can feel at home here. They have hundreds of DVDs and sofas to relax on while you watch them. 5 big friendly dogs. The couple who run it are so kind and friendly, they have brilliant English so we could chat with them like friends every evening. They give good advice about visiting Iguazu falls.

Disliked: If you really don´t like dogs you might not enjoy it too much, although i´m not a ´dog person´ and i actually quite enjoyed their company!

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff and good breakfast included.

Disliked: Chose it because it had a pool, but not clean enough for swimming in. That was the only disappointing factor.
