Liked: It was a good place to meet people and the kitchen facilities are quite good. The breakfast is slightly above average. The glass of wine was a nice touch and was a pretty good wine.

Disliked: The room was a shoebox, and that's being generous. If the bedroom was a shoebox the bathroom was an earring box and not a very clean one at that. The staff were inattentive, ill informed, and didn't speak English (for the most part).

Liked: Amazing value for money, free glass of wine, free internet, free washing machine, free breakfast what more can I say.

Liked: Free glass of wine every night was a masssive bonus. Twice weekly Asados which are excellent value for money (lots of wine included) Lots of communal space - big sun terrace and very well equipped kitchen. Most of the staff are very friendly and always ready to help

Disliked: The hostel does need some more showers

Liked: It had a great breakfast, good common spaces including two sitting rooms, a large, spacious kitchen, a large patio and pool, and a roof top space, Most of the staff was awesome and were very helpful. And a free glass of wine every night was much appreciated.

Disliked: The beds were not the best, the pool was too dirty to swim in, and some of the bathrooms could have been cleaner.

Liked: The friendly atmosphere and the communal areas for cooking and chatting were really good. The hostel had different things going on most nights which was a great way to meet people. Its a good hostel but the rooms are basic.

Disliked: It was sometimes difficult to communicate to staff unless you spoke spanish. The bathroom was so tiny in our room it made it really difficult to use the toilet and no shower curtain meant the whole bathroom got flooded after a shower.

Liked: A lot of free facilities. For example, international phone call, daily glass of wine, laundry, 2 person dorm. Breakfast was amazing! Inludes cereal, media lunes, bread, pancakes, etc. Staff is friendly.

Disliked: Lack of atmosphere because of too many common areas. Ofcourse this has also got to do with the tourists. Most of the staff doesn't speak English. Because of this, they couldn't give us enough info about the tours.

Liked: This place was great. Typical breakfast of sweet breads, cereal and fruit, but it was free, and considering so, it was good. Very friendly staff, very helpful and polite. Lots of people here, so good social atmosphere. Very close to the town centre, can walk there in 5 - 10 minutes. There is a large grocery store only a block away. Free glass of wine every day, when you want it. Also there is free use of a laundry machine, wifi, satelite TV.....

Disliked: nothing.

Liked: Awesome place to stay! They do a great Asado (BBQ) on Tuesday and Saturday so get there for one of those! Best hostel breakfast I have ever had! Fantastic pancakes with caramelised apple inside! Back courtyard is great to hang around and meet people but pool was empty for our visit. Free washing machine use is great but slow. Note: You can bring your own wine to all Mendozian restaurants and only pay corkage! We had a great stay there and so will you!

Disliked: Nothing to dislike!

Liked: The owners are really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was legendary and the best we've had in six months. The BBQ was excellent value and obviously the free wine encourages socialising! Definitely one of the best places to stay in SA - it's hard to leave.

Liked: The most amazing breakfasts, delightful staff and a nice haven to stay and relax.

Disliked: Not much, it's an excellent hostal.

Liked: There are events every other night - asados, wine tastings and tapas - which makes it a great place to meet fellow travelers, but at the same time it is not a party hostel.

Disliked: There are no bathrooms on the second floor, and the bathroom on the third floor is rather dingy.

Liked: Amazing breakfast!

Disliked: Only 3 toilets/shower rooms in the whole hostel! which was a nightmare! and the blonde lady on reception who didnt speak much english was really unfriendly and rude.

Liked: The atmosphere of the place is great. There is a lot of communal space and we made friends with a bunch of people in the kitchen and TV area. They keep a stream of pancakes coming in the morning. Kitchen is always available. Excellent empanadas (cheap) from the place on the corner. Internet access. BBQ was great.

Disliked: Our room was pretty small - one of the smaller ones we've had. It's a fair walk into town (about 10-15 minutes).

Liked: Great place to stay, such a breath of fresh air after visiting so many hostels where they do not really think about customer service. I could not say a bad thing about the place, the staff, location, facilities. All great and you will want to stay a night or two longer than expected!

Liked: The staff in the hostel were excellent, very friendly and very helpful with advice on what to do. We arrived very early and were offered breakfast and a place to relax until our room was ready and when we left (for a very late bus) they had no problem with us waiting all day - and even offered us the use of a shower. We found the evenings to be very sociable, the barbecue was excellent and the wine they sold was very good value!

Disliked: Our room could have done with a couple of hangers for clothes, but that's a very minor suggestion and definitely no reason not to stay there!

Liked: everything! the staff are great especially the kiwi woman, the free glass of wine every night is a bonus, the place is relaxed and feels like a home from home, plus the breakfast is good too
