Liked: Amazing! We had such a wonderful stay at Chalet Parque Central. It is only small with just 2 rooms but the house and rooms themselves is large and spacious. We felt very welcome and enjoyed Mendoza greatly. The breakfast is filling and healthy, and there is a nice patio to sit out in. The centre of town is a good 10-15 min walk, but on safe streets.

Liked: The owner is a very sweet and helpful lady. She explained Mendoza and tours when we arrived. We liked the room and the bathroom was great. Fantastic breakfast...one of the best we have had in 6 months of travel. Quiet nights sleep was a bonus.

Disliked: only two rooms so not the best place to meet other travelers, but it is perfect for a rest. Great for couples.

Liked: The room was great from all standpoints including human and luggage space, cleanliness and lighting and bed confort. We had access to some food storage space, internet computer free facilities and WiFi. Marta works in the tourist information field and can really help with local information and bookings if desired. It is a small family operation and as such most needs are promptly met.

Disliked: There was nothing I disliked.

Liked: Friendly B&B, adequate breakfast, quiet home atmosphere, good hot shower

Disliked: there are many hostels closer to main centre (though more expensive) Dogs barking in the morning made it less relaxing for a sleep in

Liked: Family run makes you feel at home . Owner arranged tours and gave good advise. Was a pleasure to stay . Highly remmended.

Liked: Das beste Hostel, das wir bislang hatten. Die Zimmer sind gepflegt und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die Dame des Hauses ist aeusserst gastfreundlich und zuvorkommend, das Fruehstueck mit selbstgemachter Marmelade liegt weit ueber dem sonst Ueblichen. Wir koennen die Unterkunft uneingeschraenkt empfehlen.

Disliked: Es gab nichts auszusetzen.

Liked: Everything. Spacious bedroom, good bathroom facilities. Brilliant hostess there is nothing too much for this woman, she provides a great breakfast , does your laundery and anything else you request is done without any problem. Good advice is given on where to eat and how to get around the city. I would recommend this hostel to everyone so cheap yet so comfortable. Taxi from bus station only $15AR so although a little way up 9 Julio it is not a problem good bus service after you arrive you will be comfortable with the local bus

Liked: What a great few days we had here after having been traveling for almost a year now. It really can be tiring being in hostels and hotels after a while. We found this to be more like a homestay than a bed and breakfast because of the way Marta made us feel right at home. She was so kind and accommodating and helped us with anything and everything. The breakfast was fantastic, the rooms clean and comfortable, nice bathrooms, and there were so many little "special touches" that Marta makes for all of her guests. She also has 3 adorable little dogs who are so sweet. Everyything about our stay was wonderful. We will definitly stay here again when we return to Mendoza one day. She even told us when we left "this is your home in Mendoza". Sweet, sweet lady and great place to stay. We highly recommend staying here.

Disliked: Nothing. It was great. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Liked: I have to say we loved staying here. We were a bit apprehensive because we knew it was more of a B&B than a hostel but Martha the lady who runs the place was amazing and couldn't have been more helpful. Everything, from arranging trips, to the yummy limoncello, to the information on Mendoza, was perfect. The house is quirky and we loved it, the rooms were a good size and we had our own bathroom, it wasn't ensuite but it didn't matter though as it was right across the hall from our room. I would highly highly recommend this place but for us there was a little downside (Only one and probably very minor to most)...... That was that you have to ring the door to get in and this was a problem at night. We are young and wanted to head out and experience the brilliant nightlife Mendoza had to offer and we felt so so guilty ringing the doorbell late at night to get back. Martha did stress that she didn't mind in the slightest, but we felt bad and probably ended up heading home earlier than we normally would have. I absolutely recommend this place, but maybe if you are going partying in Mendoza find yourself a hostel ;) I think this B&B would be perfect for more mature couples or those who are just looking for a relaxing time and/or those who like to get home at a reasonable hour. :) brilliant otherwise!!!!!

Liked: Everything it felt like a home from home. When we arrived very early in the morning we got a breakfast and was let straight into our room. Marta our host helped us arange a wine tour that evening that was good value and interesting. The homemade jams and lemoncello are amazing that her dad Armando makes. You really feel at home as there are 3 lovelyy dogs running about and her 90 year old dad Armando watching tv. We wished we could stay longer.

Liked: Marta, the owner, is a brilliant help and host. She is full of great ideas for places to visit and she is very patient if you have lots of questions to ask. The rooms are very clean, very quiet and homely. There was always hot water and her father, who also lives at the Chalet, makes an amazing limoncello! There are also good homemade jams for breakfast and reliable internet. Marta is very flexible and will happily adapt the breakfast if you want specific things like eggs or cereal or herbal teas. We really liked the homely atmosphere and above all, the tranquility, after 2 months of noisy hostels. We were allowed to use the kitchen and eat out on the sunny terrace, which was lovely, especially as there was always a table prepared for us! The Chalet isn´t totally central, but it is a nice 10 minute walk to the centro and we appreciated having space and a Carrefour supermarket very close. All in all, we were delighted with the Chalet and we hope to be able to stay again one day. Highly recommended! (As long as you are ok with small friendly dogs!)

Liked: Marta and Armando are the most hospitable people we have met in the four months we have travelled around South America. Marta went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our time in Mendoza. Armando`s marmalades and limoncello is absolutely delicious. It was like staying with relatives in the comfort of a beautiful house.

Disliked: Tamar left no negative feedback.
