Liked: O local é muito agradável e com funcionários muito competentes e solícitos. Foram extremamente gentis e nos informaram sobre tudo que precisamos para conhecer Mendoza. Guardaremos ótimas lembranças da nossa passagem por Mendoza, pela amizades que fizemos no Hostel Puertas de Sol e das maravilhosas vistas do Aconcagua e dos Vinhedos de Maipu. Recomendo fortemente a estadia nesse hostel.

Disliked: noise!! group of people drinking, chatting and Playing Pin-Pong game till 2 am!! and someone was singing his heart out!! No water supply!! internet only at the lobby

Disliked: We where in the bacement which was dark and dingy. I didnt want to sleep on the matress as i felt it was dirty

Liked: For price and location is great. The room not so pleasent. A good patio where to stay

Disliked: The hostel need some repeirs if you touch something is it possible that remain in your hand. For only one night if you don't find a better place is ok

Liked: Great little hostel bursting with character. Good facilities and cool places to chill out. The owner was lovely, always there with advice and deals for activities.

Liked: if you look for a perfect organized place, don't go, because it's often a little mess =) BUT if you look for an atmosphere like your home, the sympathy and helpfulness of Herman, the funny owner and his cute dog, and a confortable hotel with great and funny asado, don't miss Puertas del Sol! I loved my 3 days there and I almost felt like home during this Christmas far from my family !

Liked: We really enjoyed our stay at Puertas del Sol, it is incredibly relaxed, with staff who make you feel really at home and a great place to meet people and speak some Spanish!

Liked: Great location with a really good roof terrace. Breakfast is very basic so don´t rely on it but there is a huge supermarket near by so not a problem. Owner is helpful.

Liked: We booked for 1 night and ended up staying for 4 nights at this hostel. If you´re on a tight budget this is a good option. The staff were really friendly and helpful. and it was in a good location close to the main Plaza.

Liked: It was a really friendly hostel. The staff were brilliant, there was always alot of family and friends around which made me practice my Spanish. Lots of communal areas. Had a really good time here.

Liked: We had a private double ensuite room which was very large and the bathroom was good-size as well. The bed was one of the best we've had on our long trip so far. However, the hostel seemed a little run down and the kitchen rather dirty. It was also pretty loud in the afternoon when someone decided to blare spanish butt rock. The owner was very nice and always asking if everything was OK. We booked a bike wine tour through the hostel with Mr. Hugo bikes. If you are in Mendoza a tour with Mr. Hugo is a must; he is awesome! Overall it was a fairly decent experience, but some improvements are possible.

Liked: I honestly do not know how this place got such rave reviews (and hence why I had booked it). It is dirty, loud and completely disorganized. The owner is nice enough but when he come home completely drunk at 6 am with two of his drunk buddies who then crash on the couches before the stereo goes off at 7 a.m. waking the entire hostel, that's not saying much.

Liked: Excellent place to stay with the Owner very helpful in booking tours for you at promotional prices and making sure you´re ok especially if you are on your own. Very good location.
