Liked: We booked for 1 night and ended up staying for 4 nights at this hostel. If you´re on a tight budget this is a good option. The staff were really friendly and helpful. and it was in a good location close to the main Plaza.

Liked: It was a really friendly hostel. The staff were brilliant, there was always alot of family and friends around which made me practice my Spanish. Lots of communal areas. Had a really good time here.

Liked: We had a private double ensuite room which was very large and the bathroom was good-size as well. The bed was one of the best we've had on our long trip so far. However, the hostel seemed a little run down and the kitchen rather dirty. It was also pretty loud in the afternoon when someone decided to blare spanish butt rock. The owner was very nice and always asking if everything was OK. We booked a bike wine tour through the hostel with Mr. Hugo bikes. If you are in Mendoza a tour with Mr. Hugo is a must; he is awesome! Overall it was a fairly decent experience, but some improvements are possible.

Liked: I honestly do not know how this place got such rave reviews (and hence why I had booked it). It is dirty, loud and completely disorganized. The owner is nice enough but when he come home completely drunk at 6 am with two of his drunk buddies who then crash on the couches before the stereo goes off at 7 a.m. waking the entire hostel, that's not saying much.

Liked: Excellent place to stay with the Owner very helpful in booking tours for you at promotional prices and making sure you´re ok especially if you are on your own. Very good location.

Liked: The owner was very helpful with planning our tours and did everything in he could to make sure we had a comfortable stay. He managed to switch us into a private room so that our group did not have to live with one random traveler. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to travel to Mendoza and stay in a cheap hostel with a very nice atmosphere. It's also close to the local bars and shops, Gereman drove us out to the bar on the last night and came back to pick us up to save us from walking back late at night.

Liked: We just can say “Gracias” for this wonderful time!We stayed at “Puertas del sol” longer than expected since we really felt at home. It was probably our best experience in our trip to Argentina.It is a very nice and clean house. The location is just great, within walking distance to the main places in downtown. The breakfast is included. They have a fully-furnished kitchen and they prepare some delicious meals as well. (Restaurants around are so good and cheap too) There is also a very big terrace and a backyard with a barbecue grill.The owners are young and very polite. We made “Asados” (the Argentinean barbecue) almost every night with them. It was a very nice experience with nice Argentineans!Their advices helped us a lot.I recommend you to book your tours from them, since compare with other tourist offices we visited, they are much cheaper . We did paragliding (just awesome and for a couple of dollars!!) and rock-climbing. We miss rafting because the winter season but I hear is very nice as well. I hope you will have a great time in this Hostel as we did.David and Gina ;)
