Liked: This property is quite roomy, ample space in the rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, back courtyard, and front common room. It is two blocks from the beach, perfect location! The area is safe to walk at night and near the main shopping street Guemes. Various buses that go along the coast stop across the street from the hostel! The best part is the staff who are extra friendly and helpful!

Disliked: Room was TOO small. There was a closet that I couldnt open because of the lack of space.

Liked: I really had a great time in Hostel del Mar, friendly people, great location, the best place to stay in Mar del Plata

Liked: The place was really nice. Playa Varese, where the hostel is located, is one of the best places in Mar del Plata. The staff was really friendly and helpfull. The rooms and bathrooms were really clean, as well as all the other rooms. The people and atmosphere were really good. The price was ok. I would strongly recomend this hostel, that had been recomended to me by a friend.

Liked: nice place, nice at atmosphere with the travelers, excelent location. what didnt like it?, you cant see tv or stay in the living room between 3 to 8 am.

Liked: This place was really great. The staff was really nice, the rooms were nice and it is super close to the beach! The kitchen is fully stocked and there is a big TV with a ton of movies to chose from!
