Liked: This place has real character - we loved it! Good atmosphere and easy access to town and trails. If you like rock music it's a particular must - the owner has music DVDs on most of the time (but not late, so it was never a nuisance)

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: A maid cleaned the rooms and the bathrooms every day. Beds were made too. There is a lovely view of the valley from the kitchen.

Disliked: The staff are not particularly friendly, spending much of the day surfing the web (which no guests are able to access). The kitchen is under equipped for the size of the hostel. There are four gas rings and no oven for the whole hostel.

Liked: Nice and clean, good dorm sizes, and a nice common area with a decent sized kitchen. There as a TV with lots of Music concert dvds, which was a really cool idea as the TV is in the main common area so films not always appropriate. You can complete many beautiful walks from this hostel.

Disliked: It is a bit overpriced. Looking on Hostel websites, it seems that it was about standard price for El Chalten, but we met people who had just booked into places when they arrived for much less.
