Liked: The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They were very helpful in suggesting trips and where to go next. Also it's a quiet hostel so you can get a good night's sleep. The private rooms in the annexe are far better than the dorms and private rooms in the main part of the hostel but you pay dearly for them. We moved to a 3 bed dorm after 3 nights to save money and they are perfectly serviceable if very small. The kitchen is clean and well equipped. The breakfast is good with fresh bread and medialunas.

Disliked: In the annexe across the road the wifi didn't work. In the main building the bathrooms need updating and for full sized doors to be put in the toilet cubicles to give you a bit more privacy. Also due to booking through hostelbookers they charged an extra 10 pesos a night above their advertised room rate which seems a bit unfair.

Liked: We stayed in the rooms accross the road. very clean, peaceful and attractive. had own lounge separate form the hostel. The hostel staff were very friendly and helpful.

Liked: The staff is really friendly and they try to help you everytime. They give you very usefull advices and information about the visits and the things to do in town. The bedrooms are really nice and cosy and very clean. It is a very good choice if you have to sleep in El Calafate

Liked: We stayed across the road in the rooms with ensuite. They were small but very clean and very comfortable. The only problem we had was that the central heating stopped for our room one day however this was fixed immediately when we let them know - good to know that they respond to a problem quickly as this means the problem does not really exist.

Liked: I stayed in a private room, located in another building from the shared rooms. Missed the social aspect at that distance, unfortunately, though the room was fine and very quiet.

Disliked: Separation of private rooms so far from more social areas.

Liked: This is the friendliest and nicest place we have stayed in during our trip. The staff were so nice and made us feel like part of the family. They helped us organise our tours and the location was also perfect (2 minute walk to centre of town)

Liked: This was the best hostel we've stayed at in quite a while. The shower was very weak but still piping hot so not really a problem. The staff were so helpful and you really felt like part of their family. Great breakfast and great facilities. Internet was very fast.

Liked: The owners were extremely nice towards us and helpful in planning our activities. They also have on-site laundry which was very convenient after being on the glacier in pouring rain all day.

Liked: I don't have any complain. Very clean and well located, just next to the Bus station, very important for me as I had to take the bus very early in the morning. Staff is wonderfull, all of them really helpfull and veryyyy nice people! They give you all the information you need. I would recomend it to any one and If I go back to El Calafate I would definetelly stay there!
