Calafate Hostel

Calafate Hostel has been considered the largest, best served and most modern hostel in the Argentine Republic by F.E.Berenguer Ex- Kistaquis Company, international traveler and hostel qualifier.

The hostel is made up by active and qualified young people who are constantly working to obtain reductions for the best excursions in El Calafate in order to make your stay here as economical as possible.

The hostel has been created thinking of the place we would like to find when traveling around the world, comfortable, economical and clean; a place where all our demands are satisfied.

Infrastructure
It is made of wood, which gives it a friendly and cozy atmosphere; it has 189 beds of the highest comfort. There are large common spaces where meeting others is within hands reach. Its accessibility is ideal because it is situated in the centre of El Calafate, a few metres from the bus terminal and from the principal shopping centres, banks, supermarkets and public offices.

GASTRONOMY
The Restaurant del Hostel offers a great variety of homemade dishes with plentiful portions, made by our chef Cristian with fresh local products. We have a daily menu, elaborated and light dishes.

Our prices are inexpensive, taking our guests into account. Meals are served by young and friendly people.

We prepare the typical dishes of the region: Patagonian mutton, Argentine beefsteak, fillets, and the well-known for their size and taste Patagonian ‘milanesas’.

Breakfast is served from 6.30 to 10.00a.m
Lunch is served from 12a.m to 2.30p.m.
Dinner is served from 7p.m to 11p.m.

At the hostel bar you can ask for tasty snacks to enjoy in your excursions at reasonable prices.
