Liked: Knowledgable and friendly staff. We are a middel-aged couple and had a private room. I think young people would like this hostel even better. My 24 years old daighter visited us there and thought it was great. They reimburse your taxi from the bus station (but not the airport.)

Liked: The staff was fantastic and extremely helpful. The only drawback is that it is cash only, which is hard when paying $520 pesos for the activities like Big Ice (which you must do if you can!!)

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful. One thing that could definitely be better in the rooms is for them to have more than one power socket in each room. They need at least two because their were times were the people in the room had 8 things to charge but had to wait all night before they could charge it. Over all a really nice place with very friendly and helpful staff

Liked: Very friendly staff who are extremely helpful! Also each room has its own bathroom and shower which is very nice. Maid service that changes your bed sheets every day.

Liked: one of the best hostels i´ve stayed in! very clean, great value and friendly staff. All you can eat asado was delicious! nice chillout area. would definately recommend!

Liked: Great location overlooking the lke and snow capped mountains.The staff were all incrediblly friendly, helpful and energetic. The even make an effort to learn everyones names. I had heaps of tours booked by them before I arrived, they send you an email with heaps of information on the hostal and all the activities form calafate with prices (but the change often it seems). Definately budget for more than you anticipate in Patagoina.The rooms have a great design in that the the toilet and shower have seperate rooms and the sink is in between so 3 people can be using each at once. Some rooms have incredibally comfortable sprung beds but some aren´t so comfy so request the comfy beds. Great atmospere for meeting new friends. If you want space there is a sitting area upstairs the only problem is that it is always overheated so be prepared to strip to your summer clothes inside!

Liked: Thanks to all the staff at ADS. They are real friendly and treat every person like their friend. The under floor heating is great and the views are beautiful in more ways than one! :) Thanks, I'll miss you lot.

Liked: the sunset view is unbeatable, double rooms were hotel standard at hostel prices. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Minitrekking tour seemed expensive but was worth every penny -highly recommended!

Liked: This is just the perfect place! Very, very nice and helpful staff, super clean, and the heated floors are definitely nice to come back to after a long excursion to the glaciers.Keep in mind that this is not your typical party hostel since most people leave for tours around 7-9 am, so people tend to go to bed early. It is still a great place for socializing! The common/sitting room is really nice and 6 times a week there's a BBQ in the evening - so really, tons of opportunities to get to know other people, talk and maybe have a beer or some wine.
