Liked: Good location near bus terminal, very good safety and security, nice kitchen communal area, owners and good room size (and fact we got an upgrade!)

Disliked: walls seem to be made of paper

Liked: Close to the bus terminal. Safe and secure entry.

Disliked: Nothing really stands out about this place. Not the best, not the worst. There were only 2 baths to use, but I didn't have a problem. Floors are creeky so if you are a light sleeper bring earplugs.

Liked: wonderfull place, simple, gust what you nead after long day of walking. carlos, the oner, is nice and want to help in every thing we wanted. there is a near supermarket , 2 ninutes from the bus station, and you can cook what you want in the kitchen.

Disliked: i heard the snoring from the next room

Liked: Staff were excellent and happy to book excursions/buses/hostels etc. The owner was particularly knowledgeable about everything we asked him and we asked him everything! Thanks a million Carlos and best of luck in the future.

Liked: Carlos at the desk was really really helpful with tours and general info on El Calafate. Good location if you are bussing in and out.

Disliked: On the other side to bus station than the main part of the town - not such a big deal 5 min walk but still. Hostel was really noisy one night.

Disliked: the walls are way to thin, I paid for a single room ensuite x 4 nights and nobody came to clean my room during my stay, breakfast is poor, the staff in ok but the hostel has no atmosphere......

Liked: excellent location. walking less than 5 minutes from the bus station. walking 5 min to town center. staff has lots of information about tours etc.

Disliked: there are not so many common rooms. only the kitchen. no good tv room

Liked: Its a small and welcoming hostel. It's close to the bus station and only about a 5 minute walk from the main street. The owners are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok - though served earlier than most hostels.

Disliked: The rooms were ok sized but the walls were paper thin - you would wake up to people walking around downstairs or in the hallway. The beds where a bit uncomfortable too. There is no real lounge room (just a kitchen area where people congregate). Also no real 'garden' to chill in. This could be a great hostel if they improved a few minor things like bed quality, better walls (or insulation) and a lounge room to relax after a days hiking/sightseeing.

Liked: very nice and friendly people at the desk, giving good and honest tips, are not pushy at all. nice room, warm, warm showers.

Disliked: bathroom and toilet in one, the floor is often wet because of that, but actually no problem

Liked: Excellent hostel run by an incredibly friendly and hospitable team. Excellent value for money and very good location. Would definitely stay here again.

Liked: the staff were amazing, they really go out of there way to help and make sure you have a comfortable stay. the kitchen was good too. one of the best and friendliest hostels i have ever stayed in. highly reccommended!

Disliked: a little noisy but a pair of ear plugs sort this out.

Liked: The staff were really friendly and helpful and the room was a good size. Breakfast was the usual for a hostel like this but also as usual great that it's included! Only a short walk from the main street in El Calafate and very close to the bus station which is handy for walking to with heavy bags.

Disliked: Nothing really.

Liked: Nice staff, and we had our own bathroom. Very close to the busstation.

Disliked: The kitchen was too small for the amount of people that stayed. And it wasn't even fully booked.
