Liked: Great hostel. Nice rooms, excellent showers, decent wifi, staff were great and I met some nice people here! Breakfast was also much better than the usual bread-and-jam.

Disliked: Little bit further from attractions than I would have liked, but the subte was easily accessible.

Liked: Really good atmosphere with very helpful staff and a great price within Buenas Aires. A good bar and a very good breakfast with plenty of available deals each night and events that you can book directly through the hostel.

Disliked: Location is a little bit of a walk from the main centre of Buenas Aires but the area is perfectly safe and the staff are always happy to help you locate anything you wish to find.

Liked: GREAT hostel! Loved staying here - great atmosphere (really good place to meet people), really helpful and friendly staff, dorm rooms all have lockers, the (included) breakfast is really good, the wifi is last and reaches everywhere in the hostel, they let you use their skype account to call landlines overseas, and it's reallly cheap!

Disliked: Nothing major. The dorm beds aren't great - you can't sit up on the lower ones (because the top bunk it's very high), and the top ones don't have privacy curtains or any railing (and they're pretty narrow beds - restless sleepers beware!)

Liked: Actually every tiny thing was excellent, Kayley (runs the place) is amazing, and so are the other staff members. Everybody speaks good English (exceptional in latin america)

Disliked: well, boys' toilets were not very clean, but that's it

Liked: Comfortable mattresses, laundry service, clean showers, good breakfast and very nice staff.

Disliked: Poorly equipped kitchen (in particular, shortage of dinner plates and no decent tin opener). Dorms a bit cramped, although lots of secure storage space.

Liked: the staff are amazing and help out with travel ideas and finding your way around the city. it really feels like a proper community even though it was a short stay! x

Disliked: its a little way from the ´nice´ part of the city, but once you know how to get around thats not really a problem.

Liked: very clean and organized (constant cleaning and maintenance), close to Indepencia subte and main avenues, breakfast is great (fresh-squeezed orange juice, hard-boiled eggs, etc.), lots of activities promoted/organized by the staff, San Telmo is a nice area for the cultural aspects and easy access to other parts of the city

Disliked: far from Palermo; although they offer/promote nightly activities, it doesn't seem to be much of a party hostel, not as social/populated as I would have hoped, but then again it's off-season

Liked: Good hostel if travelling on your own as lots of activities to get you involved with and the staff were really helpful.

Disliked: The location and the rooms were really cold during winter and a heater wasnt provided.

Liked: good breakfast and helpful staff and comfortable beds.

Disliked: check out time is 10am, way to early for a city like BA. there was nowhere cosy and warm to go and hang out, the tv room was in the bar so could never use it in the evenings as the music was always on. Had to ask for the heating to be put on and no ipod speakers in our double room.

Liked: the hostel was safe and nice a clean. The breakfast was excellent-bread, jam, cereal, tea, coffee until 12 o clock !

Disliked: our room was very noisy, the secure gate makes an awful noise each time people go in and out. We were expecting a lot more after reading previous reviews.

Disliked: Area isnt great, but it is enar the subway so easy to get where you want.

Liked: Fantastic staff, especially Pablo!! Very helpful, we ended up staying for 8 nights when we had only booked for 2!!! One of the best hostels we`ve stayed in, would definately stay again if we return to Buenos Aires!!

Liked: The dorms are really good with plenty of space to put your luggage and lock them up. It is conveniently located to the metro. It is good value for money and the breakfast is awesome

Disliked: The common areas are all inclosed and underground which gives a very dark feel.

Liked: PAX is in a great location near San Telmo and the subway, and has everything you need. The staff were fantastic - so helpful and super friendly - and the included breakfast (til midday!) was great - fresh OJ, boiled eggs and cereal available! The private rooms are complete with TV and DVD players which was a bonus too.

Disliked: The dorm room was windowless and dark, and the promised curtains on 'all dorm beds' are only on the bottom bunks.

Liked: Not a great deal, breakfast was pretty good I guess

Disliked: Staff (the guy with the short hair & pierced ear) were unhelpful and unfriendly. They tried to charge me an extra half night for changing my booking, to which I flatly refused. Not much natural light inside at all Very small and tightly packed dorms with no windows Some communal showers No decent common room

Liked: The location is pretty good and the rooms and bathrooms are always clean, although I did get bedbugs there but that can happen anywhere. The breakfast is really good and you can help yourself to as much as you like. The orange juice is a nice touch. The two Spanish guys who work at the bar and the Brazilian guy are incredibly friendly.

Disliked: The common area is basically the reception and the library doesn't exist. Some of the staff are really rude especially the skinny guy with the long dreadlocks at reception, he is quite possibly the rudest person I have ever met and a lot of the information he provided me with turned out to be false. If they got rid of him it would be a much better place. He is awful and a lot of backpackers I met there had the similar issues with him.

Liked: free bikes were great. 2 computers with free internet. Curtains around beds

Disliked: eggs 4 breakfast is 1 hard boiled eggs. Bunks 2small 2sit up in. Poor selection of drinks in the room they call a bar.
