Liked: Staff was friendly, breakfast was very good and rooms were kept orderly.

Disliked: Many guests were renting beds for longs period of time (up to 3 months), these guests feel a bit more entitled to the rooms and space,

Liked: orange juice was good along with the crossaints. The night reception guy from Equador seems very friendly and nice along with one of the local Argentinians and that was kind how they tried to help me locate one of my friends

Disliked: Lot of long stayers.Lady in my room was very nosy and never seemed to leave the room with the radio on a lot. There is a lot of construction work that goes on starting from 7 in the morning even on Saturday when they told us it would not be the case. The also try very hard not to honour the rates booked on hostelbookers and try and use their own excahnge rate in spite of having a confirmed rate. This is not the guys at reception but the policy enforced by the owner who seems to have some wierd policies when it comes to extending the stay. Better to extend booking on hostelbookers as the rates are better but I left to another place as I thought the atmosphere was not the best. Also the mattrasses are just thin foam so you may not sleep that well at night.

Liked: The staff is extremely helpful and really want people to stay and feel comfortable.

Disliked: The hostel conditions could be better however the nature of the staff and their wanting to accomodate over compensate this.

Liked: Nothing - I got no sleep I had the misfortune to be the most selfish spanish speaking people in the world. They were up in the room until 3am talking, playing music - I was trying to sleep then they packed up and left at 3am. So I did not enjoy my stay

Disliked: The taxi to the port and to the airport seemed more expensive from this location

Liked: When I booked online the price for a dorm bed was 35Pesos/night or so which is great value - it seems the price went up overnight as tonight and tomorrow we are staying and it went up to 49/night. The breakfast of warm croissants and coffee is nice and the rooms have air con which is a must in the BA summer time!

Disliked: Well perhaps I was just unlucky but I had to pull out a great big gunky hair ball out of the drain of my shower as it was converting itself into a bathtub collecting all the water - YUCK! The beds are just foam mattresses.

Liked: The staff and owner, Martin was really helpful and accomadating. They were very flexible and helpful when I suddenly had a change in my travel plans. Would recommend this hostel to other travelers!

Disliked: I can't think of anything specific I didn't like.

Liked: Location and security.

Disliked: The private single room has two single beds with very old sheets which have some hair on them. I don't think it is a good value for money.

Liked: They sell good 2 liter bottled water

Disliked: this place needs a lot of work both construction & atmosphere wise. Staff also need more knowledge about its suroundings. At the moment it construction going on next door so its very loud from 7 in the morning.

Liked: Staff was very friendly. There was one girl working there who was very friendly!!

Disliked: it{s not clean and the rooms where very small. Showers where dirty. Nevertheless it was a very cheap place to stay for one night!

Disliked: lack of cleanliness, also one staff member was really rude to my friend and i. felt like he was talking down to us and spoke sarcastically.

Liked: Wonderfully beautiful location. Walking around the area is a dream. Fantastic staff who will give you directions to everything, and tell you how to get there cheaply (without using cabs). BBC news available on the high definition TV.

Disliked: The top floor seems to be unfinished. The showers are always hot, but poorly designed. The kitchen is poorly equiped.

Liked: The location is nice and the security is good. There are lockers in the room and in the hall.

Disliked: The management seems to think they have a much better hostel than they actually do. They seem unaware of the cleanliness, facilities and atmosphere offered at other hostels just down the block. It is not clean. There are two tiny burners and with so many long term guests and students staying here year round the kitchen becomes very crowded and dirty. Staying here feels like couch surfing at a friend of a friends place.
