Liked: The staff were really lovely. The two owners don't speak a lot of english but really go out of their way to help you and the girl who worked on reception was simply awesome.The place is super cheap (although it's better to book in hostelbookers because if you just turn up it's US$10) and in a really nice part of palermo near some lovely parks. It's a really quiet hostel and a little lacking in atmosphere. It seems to be mostly argentinian students. Not at all a party hostel.

Liked: Other guests made the hostel seems to be bad.. But the staff didnt act properly to fix that, so they need to prepare better to host people. They have potential

Liked: Nice hostel in a good location in Palermo. Rooms were spacious & clean and staff were really nice & friendly. Not a party hostel at all so probably not the best choice if you are by yourself & looking to meet people.

Liked: I had a room to myself with a private bathroom. It has air conditioning which is important in the summer. There is wireless internet so I could my laptop in my room which was great! There was hot water in the bathroom and towels provided. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets clean. They sell water and have a fridge in the room and plenty of storage space and a free locker. You just need a padlock to make your things secure. The owner Martin speaks English as well as one of the other staff members. Martin and his wife are very helpful and made me feel welcome and did a lot to help me due to my poor Spanish when I asked for assistance in booking over the internet. The other staff are friendly and helpful too. I would definitely recommend it. They are not too familiar with the tango scene though so you need to do the work yourself if you want to find out about that. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Liked: The owners of Arribo Buenos Aires are some of the nicest people I've ever met. They really care about making your experience wonderful. The locations is great and it is easy to get anywhere from there. I really appreciated that the hostel was relatively quiet and tranquil so that I could sleep well. I would recommend this hostel to anyone traveling to Buenos Aires.

Liked: Pro: Good location, rooms are reasonably sized, friendly staff and they try to communicate if you dont speak Spanish.Cons: Expensive compared to other hostels in the area. Central A/C didn't seem to be running properly and the room felt stuffy most of the time. Very noisy as there is a hospital nearby and sirens can be heard throughout the night.

Liked: What I liked about it: the excellent location, safety, clean and comfortable rooms, nice breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, with very good price, quiet, so everyone can rest and have a good night sleep.What I didn't like: bathrooms are not enough and flood after the first person that used, no computers with internet access (although they offer free wi-fi, it's just that not everybody carries laptops...)

Liked: Martin and Paula the owners are two of the most helpful people Ive ever met in a hostel. They really went the extra mile to help us have a good time in BA and also helped us organise accomodation and travel to Brasil. I would certainly reccommned Arribo Buenos Aires.

Liked: Its clean and a decent location. Maybe I was there at a quiet time but there was very little atmosphere & little opportunity to meet people. The rooms are fine - basic but reasonably clean. Staff are nice & helpful also. All in all a solid quiet hostel but dont come here if you are looking for a party place.

Liked: A mi me gusto mucho ese hostel. La gente que me atendio fue bien amable conmigo. Todo muy limpio. Lo unico malo es que mi habitacion olia a humo, pero que esperar de una ciudad donde todo el bendito mundo fuma?! jajaI liked this hostel a lot! The kids who worked at the desk spoke both excellent English and Spanish. It's a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the downtown by Subte or bus. I highly recommend it!

Liked: The good: decent breakfast, the staff was polite and helpful, they speak english, relatively safe neighborhood.The bad: whoever was cleaning our room just threw whatever was on my bed on the floor.The ugly: there is just ONE shower for two floors, you better take more expensive room with ensuite bathroom if you fancy taking a shower.

Liked: Rooms and bathroom are spacious and cleaned daily. Breakfast is tasty and plentiful. Staff are very helpful giving information about places to visit and tours in the city. Some English spoken. Overall would definitely recommend to other travellers.

Liked: We booked a private double and found the room to be a little dissappointing. It was right next to the common room, and the disabled-access bathroom flooded when you used the shower. However the room was very clean, had a heater, and plenty of hot water. The staff spoke excellent English and were very friendly and helpful. If you´re after a dorm bed or private twin this struck us as a pretty good place, but couples looking for a private double can do better elsewhere.

Liked: It is situated in a very safe area, and walking distance from the Recoletta area, Zoo, Botanical Gardens, Shopping Centre, Supermercado, City Bus [hop on hop off] which is near the Zoo, restaurants etc. Hostel is clean. Small kitchen, but good. Maybe could be more knowledgeable, or informative about places to go, busses etc. Had a great stay, not a party hostel, so if you want to enjoy some quiet time - this is the place to go! I enjoyed my stay! :-)

Liked: I liked the atmosphere of the place, great site to meet new people, people from all over the world. The prices were pretty reasonable, the rooms were clean, as well as all the facilities of the hostel. People working there are very friendly and willing to help in case you needed any guidance.
