The staff was wonderful - kind, laid back, and very helpful - not something we found at every hostel around Argentina. The location is in the "Little Spain" area of Congreso neighborhood, and there were good/cheap cafes and Spanish restaurants near by. It is quick access to the subway, Carrefour, buses and a lot of BA's sights. The giant crucifix in the main room (it is SANTO hostel...), Eva Peron grafitti on the walls, and the vintage furniture make for a cool shared space.
