Liked: we slept in a privet double bed room and it was very nice and clean, the staff was really helpful. i recommend this place to all

Disliked: because we slept down stairs it was a little noisy at afternoon and sometimes at night.

Liked: It´s in San Telmo, which is a nice neighbourhood, but on an ugly and noisy street.You can find much better hostels in a nicer area of San Telmo for the same money or less.

Disliked: We booked for three nights but left after the first one. They put us in the downstairs dorm which has the noisy street on one side and the even noisier common room on the other - people shouting, getting stoned and playing 3 kinds of music simultaneously till the small hours. Because of the buses thundering past every few minutes the other guests in our room insisted on keeping the windows closed, after a few hours there was no oxygen left to breathe, exacerbated by 16 smelly feet. There were only 6 lockers in the dorm, but 8 beds, so we had nowhere to lock away our valuables. The receptionist let us in at night without knowing us or checking that we were staying there so anyone could come in to steal.

Liked: Excellent location in the trendy San Telmo district. Very clean comformatable rooms, good showers, good wifi in most rooms. Good comfy lounge areas where people hang out and meet.

Disliked: Breakfast of crackers and dulche con leche are NOT my cup of tea. Music is playing all the time in the central courtyard area - till about 4am the two nights we stayed.

Liked: We stayed here three separate times during our trip. The room we had the second stay was double the size of the room we had the first and last stay which was great, we actually had room to move around the bed! We also got a TV in that room too.

Disliked: Breakfast isn't great, crackers with dulce de leche. Each stay we booked a double ensuite, the room we had during two of our stays was tiny, barely enough room for our bags on the floor next to the bed let alone space for us to move around. The hostel was geared up for Spanish speakers and we felt very isolated not speaking great spanish as if it was us against them almost!

Liked: ATTENTION WAS PLEASING, READY TO HELP AND KIND. THE HOSTEL WAS VERY CLEAN, A LOT OF LIGHT, SILENT, WELL LOCATED, SAFETY, GOOD ATMOSPHERE, NOT TOO CROWDED

Liked: Location in San Telmo is great. Close to markets and Sunday fair. Always good music playing, spacious common area, large kitchen ( although lots of ppl use it so can be crowded). Our private room was simple but nice, ceiling fan and heater, lots of hot water in showers and daily maid service. Could hear kitchen activity through walls as well as courtyard conversations. If you are allergic or dislike smoke, consider another hostel, as all staff and many guests, smoke inside common areas, which felt a bit heavy at times.

Liked: Great atmosphere and very clean! Lots of staff around all the time and will help you out and recommend things to do, including hosting their own bbqs and activities if you want to join. A bit outside of the main part of BA but an easy walk or taxi ride from most things.

Liked: Has a Parrilla and huge kitchen, but is on a main bus route, first floor with terrible ventilation, really hot in the rooms (has a fan). Extremely loud on the roadside - do not take these rooms if you want to sleep!!! Otherwise the place is chilled, good tunes play all the time and the staff are great.
