Liked: we stayed in the four bed dorm, which was really good value. some of the staff were unbelievably helpful. others were unbelievably unhelpful. but overall i loved the hostel and they had really good suggestions of what to do. definitely recommended

Liked: I recommend this hostel with the caveats I list, and I would stay here again. I booked here because I wanted a single and this hostel offered the best price for a two bed room (I knew I would have to pay for both beds). On the day before my planned arrival, my trip was delayed for 2 days and I immediately emailed the hostel. They treated me fairly and did not charge me much above the deposit I had already paid for those 2 days. (I ended up staying for 3 days, not 5). My room,called "Love" met my basic need for privacy but was dingy and not too LOVEly--beds ok, well lit, and with an excellent ceiling fan. Baths clean, plenty of VERY hot water. Good WiFi. Breakfast the standard breads, jam, fresh fruit, coffee/tea, Staff was quite pleasant, especially Pablo on the night desk, who speaks excellent English. There is a funky exchange library (leave a book, take a book) but almost all the books are 50+ year old tomes in German, apparently the legacy of the previous occupants. Despite offering evening BBQs, etc. at moderate additional cost, this is a very small hostel with limited social life (fine with me, age 60). One drawback is the location--they claim to be in San Telmo but actual location is 2 blocks west of Ave 9 de Julio on Ave San Juan, which is a VERY noisy thoroughfare and apparently directly above a Subte line because one feels the telltale shaking at regular intervals.

Liked: Nice communal areas, easy to meet other people. Location is OK, it´s not far to walk to San Telmo and feels like a safe neighbourhood, you can walk everywhere. We really enjoyed our stay here and it is a good base to see everything in Buenos Aires.

Liked: Both my partner and I would strongly recommend this hostel. We had a fantastic two nights. The staff were fantastic - really helpful and friendly. They even let me have a shower after I'd booked out and spent a day in the hot sun and returned to collect my luggage to go on a long bus journey. Not sure about the glass doors in the private bathrooms though!!

Liked: Stayed here twice. Great hostel, clean rooms, good range of faciliies. free computers, reading room.Good place to meet people!Staff was amazingly friendly and was able to help me with all my requests (If you need to get a hair cut. Ask at reception! They know the best place in BA and can get you a nice reduction!)

Liked: Staff were really helpful. Good breakfast which stayed out til about 12. Room was off the lounge and really noisy til about 3am, staff made no effort to curb noise, or turn lights off so our room was very light.

Liked: There are no dorms and we were pleased that it wasn't a 'party all night' kind of crowd - we enjoyed chatting in the lounge area with nice people. The reception staff were very helpful regarding organising what we wanted to do and bus tickets etc. The bathrooms were spacious and not a cubicle but a large bathroom, Everyone has their own bath mat so you always have a dry bath mat to step onto! Good security.

Liked: good place to meet people, book your tours etc at other hostels or tour companies though as these guys have no real optionsand don´t know any information and they are quite pricey compared to elsewhere - great place to dtay though, lovely atmosphere
