Liked: Its cheap. The location is great (if you like San Telmo, like me)

Disliked: Bit grubby to be honest. The rooms, the tiny bathroom (with the loo/shower door which didn't even shut properly let alone lock), the kitchen, all pretty skanky. But hey, you get what you pay for. It was fine for a night. I wouldn't like to be there a week.

Liked: Regarding property I like it the atmosphere I felt a piece of tango and the wish to become everything what's new appears old in a sophisticated argentinian way in that place, also the kindness of staff always very welcoming in any doubts. The charming architecture, decoration and cleanliness was great. Bedrooms very well set up, good kitchen and free access to internet with computers and wifi available. Cosy and discreet place to stay. Breakfast is good... bread (delicious), butter, jam, milk, flakes, coffee.

Disliked: Kitchen is not well equiped anda little dirty, almost ok.

Liked: Comfy beds, helpful and friendly staff, plenty of common area space, decent sized kitchen, nice building - wall paintings and other stuff give it a good atmosphere

Disliked: Stayed in a 6 bed dorm - cramped, 4 beds would have been more suitable. Place was a bit dark, lockers in the rooms were metal and really noisy, lots of stairs

Liked: Good location near plaza Doriego where you can see tango on sundays. Friendly staff.

Disliked: Shared bathrooms were small.

Liked: big dorm room woth shared balcony, very clean for argentinian hostels (common handtowel in bathroom is exchanged frequently), kind of quirky. nice and helpfull staff, great location in San Telmo, close to bars, pub, etc.

Disliked: breakfast basic but ok

Liked: Located in the centre of San Telmo. The common areas have a nice relaxing atmosphere. AC in the rooms. Spacious dorms and bathrooms. Helpful staff.

Disliked: Not the right place if you're looking to meet lots of ppl and party.

Liked: The location was fantastic. Very close to the Sunday San Telmo market, and stores and restaurants close by. I also liked the rooftop terrace.

Disliked: The shower didn't have anywhere inside the room or nearby to keep clothes and towels dry. But it was clean, and otherwise a good shower.

Liked: Staff are friendly and helpful.

Disliked: The shared, co-ed showers and restroom combination were very difficult to use and was not cleaned for at least the two days I was there.

Liked: Great hostel in great location. Block away from the food market and plenty of supermarkets. If you're cooking, remember to bring your own tin opener though! Would stay again.

Liked: The location is fantastic, is within easy walking distance of all major attractions. San Telmo has lots of character so is a great area to stay in. Hostal staff were very helpful and knowledgable.

Liked: We got an apartment for 5 nights which was lovely. Lots of room, even though it was a little run down. Staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke english well.
