Liked: Great party hostel with good location. A lot of activities, but somewhat expencive. Good place to meet people.

Disliked: Got some insect bites from the bed, and the bathrooms are steamy. Otherwise good.

Liked: one of the best hostels Ive stayed at so far on my travels... awesome parties, you are guaranteed to make friends here, nice and clean dorms, they clean every day and organise trips some of which are good value some arent... highly recomendable unless you are old or want something quiet... then stay away!

Disliked: when I was there they had bedbugs in some rooms.. not the hostels fault tho.. they got rid of it by now tho I think not much to dislike really.. if u want to sleep go somewhere else.

Liked: Huge hostel and part of two Milhouse hostels in the area so alot of people get together for driking in the evenings. great place to meet people.

Disliked: The fricking elevator never worked! :p

Liked: Classic party hostel - good setup if you want to go out to nightclubs every night.

Disliked: Full of Australian and 'Australian-type' people who hop from capital city to capital city. Staying here sort of means you will avoid anything that is too related to Argentina. The wireless internet is pretty terrible for a hostel of this size.

Liked: really amazing parties, a lot of nice and hot guys and still quiet rooms with considerate people. SUPER nice staff! will really miss this place!

Disliked: some ghost seemed to snatch most kitchen utensils, and i don´t know what was up with the breakfast coffee but it did NOT taste well...

Liked: The best party hostel I've ever stayed!!

Disliked: Although the hostel has a nice structure staff was sometimes a bit cold. Not all of them,actually the majority was really helpful and friendly. It was just one or two people, probably the managers, that were not showing a very "out of the box" approach. Anyway, I highly recommend this hostel as the best to stay in BsAs!

Liked: Great staff and great location

Disliked: Kitchen facilities were appalling. 8 bed dorm was cramped and roasting hot. Lack of communal bathrooms- 1 bathroom between 8 people wasn't great.

Liked: The rooms are fairly decent, facilities are good and its an easy, sociable place to meet other people. There's a party most nights of the week (at one or the other millhouse hostels) so there's always something to do.

Disliked: The breakfast was a bit lacklustre - a bit of toast would be enoyable but that wasn't there. The beds were lacking in size, as were the pillows, and weren't always comfortable - though in BA you'll be happy to have somewhere to lay down.

Liked: the bathroom was very nice, staff are nice and good too.

Disliked: There are a giant, very loud fans located on the first floor, i could hear it on the 4th floor too! i had to use earplugs for this reasons. No wifi in the rooms.

Liked: Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Disliked: Completely the wrong part of town for seeing the best of buenos aires as proved by the fact that the clubs they promote are all about 7km away in Palermo which is a much better area to stay in for an authentic BA experience. If you just want to have a good time then stay at Milhouse but you could basically be staying anywhere in the world. There is nothing authentic about it. They overcharge for their day trips - $50 to go to la boca for a walking tour and over $300 to go to a football match. I paid $40 by just going to the stadium and buying it myself. Also, the rooms on the road are extremely noisy as Avenida de Mayo is a main road. Milhouse is legendary amongst backpackers, I'm not sure why.

Liked: One of the best hostels i ever stayed. Surely the most friendly. Internet was very fast and the toilet was so clean one could lick it.

Disliked: The "one key per room" policy makes you check before going up or get down, could be better

Liked: If you want to party, that is the place, if you want to rest go somewhere else.

Disliked: You cannot use the ladder of the second bunker, so you have to jump on and out.

Liked: Really helpful staff - can sort out any problems (e.g if you want to move rooms), Good breakfast, good large social areas. Rooms facing the street are the nicest make sure you don't get an internal facing room (less light and fresh air). Good place to start in BA as central and good for pre-drinking as bar has lots of drinks deals.

Disliked: Really poor kitchen due to lack of any utensils. Don't order english brekkie - not great. DO NOT BOOK ANY FOOTBALL MATCHES THROUGH MILLHOUSE, not just because of the price but the company they use (GodFather Tours) is very poor and you do not get seats, they are all terrace standing tickets under away fans, we got spat on for 3 hours and the 'security' was a young girl who abandoned us. Def worth researching or asking at other hostels as there are some that sell seated tickets with transport for less than MillHouse.

Liked: We met some great people at this hostel- we also met some idiots there, but I think its just the luck of the draw. When you were part of the party making the noise, it was enjoyable, otherwise you will probably need ear plugs to sleep (even in a private room)

Disliked: The football game was very overpriced Also the noise from outside the rooms was very loud some nights (particuarly bad on the night of a party at the hostel) and in the mornings the cleaners would yell to each other across floors and so there was no way to sleep in after being kept up late by party noise The bar was overpriced and some of the bartenders were pretty rude

Liked: Everytime you walk into the hostel there are people chatting and drinking, so it's very easy to meet good people there and just relax after a long day walking thru BsAs.

Disliked: Just the fact that there's only one key for the dorm, so it basically stays opened all day.

Liked: This is a great hostel to meet other travelers and experience the nightlife in BA. There´s always people in the huge common area. The staff is also very helpful in finding something for you to do each day. The beds are comfortable and I think each 6 person dorm has its own bathroom. Cool building, good location.

Disliked: There aren´t really any quite areas here. At night there´s a party downstairs that echos up to the rooms. Don´t stay here if you´re looking to relax. But if you want to party, it´s the place to be.

Liked: Large, clean hostel with good facilities - large kitchen and big bar area. Food they serve is resonable price and quite nice. Organise tours, etc for the guests.

Disliked: Nothing. Good fun party hostel.

Liked: There is a bar, 24 hour laundry service was good (25 peso).

Disliked: This is a bar with beds upsairs. The dorm was the worst I've seen since Slovakia 12 years ago. The kitchen was a joke, everything was filthy, the knobs had been detatched from the stove, the pans had no handles, there was no tin opener. You can't bring drinks in so are forced to buy at their over priced bar which is also in the common area - you want to socialise, you drink at their bar. They advertise as being able to help with booking buses, we were told by the (always) uninterested staff that there was a travel agency attached, they could book us a bus for a fee of 20 peso - we went to the station to book instead, getting a 96 peso discount and no fee, a saving of over 200 pesos. The staff were cold and treated guests like a hassle. The tours were over priced. Smoking is banned (by law?), oh, except on Wednesdays and Fridays when you can smoke wherever you like - wtf? You should come here if you want to get drunk in a bar full of Engish speaking tourists (ie you're a rich twatish teenager), if you want to experience BA then do yourself a favour, stay somewhere else and do your partying in the real BA nightlife.

Disliked: Nothing about the hostel but watch out around the Obelisk - a lot of muggings.
