Liked: Really friendly and helpful staff, good central location. Good facilities for cooking.

Disliked: Quite noisy and lots of people smoking.

Liked: The facilities were very good, cleaned with a good frequency, the hostel workers were very nice.

Disliked: The street (Calle Perón), althougt it was very close to the Obelisco and the Avenida Corrientes, was not the best street to walk (specially alone) by night, but with a large group there`s no reason to worry about.

Liked: Large dorms, friendly staff, overall quite clean and looks like its renovated recently so everything is in good working order.

Disliked: ISSUE: BED BUGS in our dorm, we advised staff who told us they would fumigate the dorm that day. They did this although didn't replace the mattress so I'm sure they will continue to have problems. Granted they were quite good about it and arranged for our bags to be sprayed and clothing to be washed for us, however this did take some convincing for them to do.

Liked: Das Hostel Kaixo ist zentral gelegen, dass macht es sehr einfach sich zurechtzufinden.Die Rezeptionisten waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, dennoch hätten wir uns ein aktiveres Hostel gewünscht (mit einem größeren Angebot von Aktivitäten). Sauber ist es auf jeden Fall und die Ausstattung ist sehr gut.ImSommer ist für Abkühlung gesorgt.Das Frühstück war okay. Ich habe mich hier sehr wohl gefühlt, da das Hostel sehr liebevoll und verspielt hergerichtet ist. Insgesamt kann ich das Hostel mit gutem Gewissen weiter empfehlen!

Liked: The staff was very helpful in finding me a good deal taxi to the airport on Christmas day and on Christmas Eve the staff and a bunch of tenants had big potluck and party.

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.

Liked: Staff is really friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and nice. Great central location. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Liked: Good location, friendly staff, really nice premises overally.

Disliked: The breakfast was regularly poor: just white bread with butter/mayonnaise/jam and quite bad coffee. There was a fridge for guests, that you could use for your own additions, only one for the whole hostel though so it was pretty full.

Liked: Staff was helpful and breakfast was decent. The dorms were really spacious which was great. Beautiful building and good location.

Disliked: It was loud and hard to sleep, but ear plugs helped. Good place to meet people which also means it is loud until the early hours of the morning. Bathroom was not the cleanest.

Liked: nice atmosphere and the hostel was rather clean, they cleand the bathroom and showers more than once a day!

Liked: very good location in the centre of town but not noisy at all inside, fantastic bread rolls for breakfast and a nice lounge area with balcony facing the street

Disliked: we had some little red bugs in the bed, i had no bites but the lady claims she had two

Liked: It is a satisfactory hostel and people are organized and help us when it's necessary.

Disliked: Few fails of comfort in the bedroom very easy to repair, like a support for the paper in the bathroom.

Liked: good location in centro, nice and clean, fabio and gerhard were very friendly and helpful! rooms were spacious.

Disliked: it was very cold!! the walk from the showers to the room was a tad chilly, but i guess thats the time of year. breakfast was bang average, bread, jam, tea and coffee.

Liked: A great hostel! Staff were great and we felt safe and comfortable the whole time. Other travelers were great and everyone got on well! Rooms were nice and big and the location is great if you want to be in the city. Will be back for sure next time I'm in Buenos Aires.

Disliked: The only downside was the male shower was a little weak, but that's nothing you cant live with.

Liked: Unbeatable location if being in the centre of BA is what you are after. Nice courtyard space

Disliked: The hostel functions as more of a guesthouse than a hostel, which isn't necessarily a bad thing on ite own.But it does create a strange atmosphere between residents and travellers as several times it felt like we were intruding and excluded. Which just made for an awkward dynamic

Liked: Very good location right in the city centre. Well equipped kitchen but could only have one person cooking at once. Good sized dorms with high ceilings and lots of space, also good wifi connection through whole of hostel.

Disliked: Strange atmosphere in the hostel, not many travellers, lots of argentinians obviously working in BA and staying here. Not really a big issue if you just want to explore the city

Liked: The place is good and the peolpe that work there are friendly and helpful. They speak inglês, spanish and portuguese. The localization is so good (close to subway, bus, restaurants and the downtown).

Disliked: The bathroom is a little far from the bedroom! Only this, but this is a question of to adapt.

Liked: Good location 5min walk to Obelisco and Metro Station. There are some supermarkets. And great staffs. They are very friendly.

Disliked: Only negative thing is low water pressure of shower.

Liked: Very friendly staff who were always happy to help and have a chat. We had troubles with flights, so our deposit from the HostelBookers reservation was transferred to the next nights with no problem. Nice rooms and good location. Had a great time. Good common room with TV and cable. Internet was fast and breakfast was the standard, but delicious bread, dulce de leche, jam, cafe, te. Plus the bath robes were an extra special treat!!!

Disliked: Very minor dislikes - the doors didn't shut properly, but rooms were still safe. Sometimes the noise from people partying in the common room travelled back into the front dorm. Kitchen was small but functional.
