The balcony is awesome... the hostel is a really relaxed and nice place, perfectly located.

The biggest plus is the location. The biggest let-down was the attitude towards smoking. It was difficult to get fresh air without some inconsiderate smoker lighting up next to you in the common room. The sheets on the bed did not fit so you ended up lying on the mattress directly, and they were very well worn. Overall the place was clean. Breakfast was very simple as per usual - tea/coffee, bread rolls and condiments.

I knew the location was going to be good since I already know well Buenos Aires but this time I found the perfect place to enjoy living and not just staying. Friendly, helpful, perfect. Next time, back to Kaixo hostel, no doubt.

An awesome location with everything in walking distance. Friendly staff, large room, and excellent hot water in the showers. There seemed to be plenty of bathrooms. Two comments - firstly it would be better if there was no smoking inside - I was greeted by the smell of smoke as I came up the stairwell on arrival in the morning - yuck, and had to put up with it in the breakfast room as well. Secondly, staff should be a bit more up-to-date on various airport transport options/prices/times etc. But still an awesome choice of lodging that I would definitely recommend.

You pay for what you tet really, this place is cheap, real cheap, but its certainly nothong like their website portrays. Wouldnt recommend.

It´s an absolutely idyllic place right in the centre of BA. The staff is amazing and it felt like coming home.

The style of the building from the marble stairway and woodowrk around the doors and windows, amount of outside sace considering you´re a level above ground, hoefully the sun is shinning. Easy flow to the lace. If it was non-smoking I´d recommend it even higher.

The hostel was very clean and the rooms were big and comfortable. Breakfast very basic, but helpful staff and fantastic location. Sometimes can be noisy at night if the rooms near the reception.

Great, small, family run hostel. Location is prefect - easy to get to 4 subway lines. Small kitchen, but with 3 tenedor libre restaurants nearby, who needs to cook? Not much of a party hostel (this is a good thing). Lots of Spanish is spoken here as half the people staying here seem to be from S. America.
