Liked: Great hostel, great internal art on the walls, great roof terrace. Every night this hostel has something interesting going on whether its market stalls on the terrace, love music, movies etc. Friendly staff. Good breakfast..... ask for the eggs. Dont ask dont get.

Liked: Friendly and helpfull staff, the location is in a safe part of the city, close to a subway station and close to the citycentre. Nice atmosphere!! Breakfast is included and WIFI internet

Liked: Cool hostel, good atmosphere awesome art eveywhere. Nice roof top area to hang out. Rooms are good, bathrooms clean and amazing shower !

Liked: beautiful old building with huge ceilings and airy rooms. The roof terrace with hammocks is a great chill-out spot. The location in central San Telmo is great and the staff are very helpful and friendly - gave us tips to get last minute tickets for the Argentina v Bolivia match! The free tango lessons are cool

Disliked: the kitchen wasn't very clean or well-equipped but it was possible to use. Needs a dining room to eat the food you make yourself. But those are only tiny complaints!

Liked: Good location in San Telmo. Lots on at the hostel, friendly and helpful staff who all spoke good English, free wifi.

Disliked: Noisey - the loudest squeaky door outside my room I've ever heard. Just a little oil could fix this! The area to stand outside the bar and smoke & talk was right outside my door. The upstairs male showers and one downstairs shower were broken for the duration of my stay. They were adding new bathrooms and trying to fix the broken ones though.

Liked: The breakfast here is pretty good and there is generally a nice vibe about the place. The bar is a good place to meet people and hear some interesting live music.

Disliked: The only niggle I have is that after my first night here I went to visit a friend, upon my return (a day later) someone had been given my bed! I had not checked out or informed anyone that I would be away from the hostel for one night. Also, use the lockers! People here are really lax about locking dorms and people come and go all the time.

Liked: This place has loads of character, a great events calendar which gets you out and about meeting people and a trendy vibe in a good location.

Disliked: Unfortunately despite all the bonuses with the place, in our experience they failed to get the basics right. After booking a smaller room we were placed in a larger one and only offered a discounted rate when a point was made of it. Confusion followed with a mild dispute over balance owed. While common spaces were great, basic features such as lockers, bunk beds and bathrooms were substandard. Breakfast dried up well before the specified time. I would recommend this place to someone who enjoys a party and a something a bit different, but perhaps not so much someone looking for a care-free stay, a good night's sleep and good facilities.

Liked: We really enjoyed the atmophere and the varieties of things they offer all days. Each day there are a bunch on things going on. They are always helpful and kind giving us the best clues and infos of places to visit and get ot know.

Disliked: My room was turn to the street, so there were a lot of noise coming from the street during the night because of the cars and buses. In my case, this was really bad for a good night of sleep.

Liked: The best hostel in BA! The building itself is beautiful and painting so that it´s interesting around every corner. The staff is so friendly and very helpful. There´s also the perfect atmoshere, with a relaxed lounge and fireplace area downstairs and bar, patio and more roudy room upstairs. The beds are very comfortable and the showers are hot and clean. Perfect!

Liked: It's very confortable and there's subway nearby.

Disliked: The first day, we didn't sleep at the hostel because there was no room for us despite our reservation. They paid a cab for other hostel and the next day we returned.

Liked: Good internet, nice room with high ceilings & lots of space, good quality sleep, nice breakfast, powerful showers (except a bit dirty).

Disliked: Not enough bathrooms for the people there, ill equipped kitchen which was tiny, frequently blocked toilets.

Liked: The staff were mostly nice and helpful and I thought the art concept was nice...

Disliked: ... but I would have preferred that they spent more time thinking about the comfort of the guests. Dorm bunks are never the most comfortable bed, but these were worse than most - squeaky, wobbly, thin and the mattress wasn't great. Also, it was really cold in the room, there was no heater and they only provided a really thin blanket so I had to wear a fleece and hiking socks to bed every night. I also found it hard to sleep cause it was incredibly noisy. I asked to move rooms and they were accomodating, but the other option was worse.
