Achalay Hostel

Achalay is a family run,cosy,friendly hostel with a cool atmosphere located in the heart of downtown Bariloche. Get the best of both worlds while you locate yourself in the buzzing city, yet only a quick bus-ride away from all the main outdoor attractions! We are only three blocks away from the main square (Centro Civico) and the mesmorizing views of Nahuel Haupi Lake.
The reception works from 8am to 12am, so if you are not arriving between these times, just let us know and we will wait for you. Read more

The house offers a space for every mood, lay back and relax in our 'Chill out room' with free access to computers, make friends in our spacious 'Peace and Love' living room, party, make friends and eat to your hearts content in our 'República de La Boca' themed patio (equipped with a fully fledged 'parrilla', BBQ), a open terrance to enjoy the sun, and even a beautiful, well maintained garden to get that all important tan (weather permitting :-p) and of course re-fuel in our full-equipped, rustic style kitchen, where we pride ourselves on ensuring you have every neccessary utensil :-)
There is Wifi access across the house, duvets to keep you warm at night and power showers.
Breakfast is included, and of course, in true Achalay style, we offer three different types of home made bread, cereals, fruits, 2 different types of homemade scrumpcious jams, dulce de leche, filtered coffee, and selection of herbal and black teas. The best part? There is no end time for breakfast...we believe in you starting your day on a full belly, no matter how mad the night before was!

Didn't quite get around to doing all your reading on Bariloche? Don't fret...our staff love to help you, and you will be showered with information, discounts and local knowledge on tours, activities, restaurants, dessert houses and of course bars! Our bilingual, helpful, friendly staff will do everything to ensure you leave with memory of Bariloche outside of the typical tourist's experience.

The reception opens at 8am and closes at 12am, so if you are not arriving between these times, just let us know and someone will be around to greet you with that Achalay warm welcome.
